Even if Marvel stays away from X-Men and F4 when choosing characters for Infinite, that is one hell of a roster to work with right there. I really hope the roster for this game just gets ridiculously huge. Like 100+ characters. Fuck it.

How would you guys feel about

He could have a vibrational field based shield move,

a ground-based super where he fires his gauntlets into the ground and the shockwaves go across the screen. He could use his gauntlets to create some sort of debris to fall on the enemy or something. Plus, the shockermobile. His gauntlets also have intensity settings.

I could possibly see him having some sort of storm-esque hover similar to InFamous' Cole's Static Thrusters just by him blasting at the ground.

Shocker getting in over Quake would be awful. The better character robbed. Female representation robbed. Cooler Spider-Man villains robbed. SHIELD robbed. Everyone would be robbed.
Then again, Shocker is a petty thief, so all those robberies would make sense.

So even if the X-Men do return in the form of DLC, I'm assuming those slots are gonna go to fan favorites like Wolverine, Deadpool, etc. I guess this crushes my hopes of my favorite superhero, Nightcrawler, getting any more exposure. It's bad enough that Marvel refuses to use FOX characters, but FOX has refused to use him since X2 except for Apocalypse (yay?). R.I.P. my hopes and dreams.

There's so many more Spider-Man characters that should be in the game long before Shocker.
I can list you at least 20 characters that are more interesting than him.

Also, while I'm all for Coulson, why can't there be both? And "this go around" makes it sound as if Quake already was in an MvC game.

Regarding BoF's Ryu, I genuinely think the main reason he never(?) shows up to crossovers is because they already have a Ryu.

She's a main character on Agents of SHIELD. If they had to choose between Quake & Shocker, I'd be shocked if they didn't go with Quake.

Not sure, we haven't had much indication one way or the other. That said, Season 4 is currently going insanely well critically & they just announced a spin-off mini-series for Yo-Yo. Either way, Quake would offer more female & SHIELD representation that Shocker wouldn't offer. If you want a Spidey villain, there's always the likes of Green Goblin, Doc Ock, & Venom.
