With so many people thinking Daredevil will be in the game I started wondering what his move list would be like.

Thought it would be cool for his batons to bounce off the floor/walls of the screen to replicate how he uses them in the books and then I started scratching my head: are there characters in fighting games who have projectiles that bounce off a surface *before* hitting the opponent? I'm sure there are I'm just drawing a blank. If someone knows, would like to see how it was handled with that character!

You know it's funny, cause Annihilus didn't start as a cosmic villain. He has been established as one after Annihilation, and has stayed around, but he originally was a straight Fantastic Four baddie.

You're right about Annihilus. He was mostly a negative zone dude up until Annihilation and post-Annihilation where he was still the Negative Zone dude, but also a larger part of the cosmic story.

Besides the ones mentioned above, the only other character I can think of is Deadshot in Injustice 2.

On the Capcom side I want breath of fire Ryu, Gene from God Hand and Elena from street fighter 3.

I think a Cloak/Dagger combo character is pretty feasible as a choice, not so much for Yondu and Peggy though.

Gene from God Hand was easily the most requested newcomer for UMvC3, so I'd say his chances are decent based on that alone.

Plus there's not a lot of unrepresented Capcom franchises now, and I imagine they'll want at least some new faces in the game.

As much as I'd love Yondu getting in, especially the MCU one with the whistle-controlled arrow cause that would provide some super cool mechanics, it's super unlikely he'd be going in before Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot and Gamora, at the very least, since he's a supporting character.

She is in the comics, yeah. She passed away to old age.

Yeah, I actually found out about her in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Made me want to go and pick up the Thunderbolts series that she was a part of, and I wanted her and Baron Zemo in ever since.

You're gonna have to wait until DLC (at best) for any version of Wolverine. It's the ideal solution, but it's better than nothing.

Songbird was on one of those MvC3 vote lists iirc. She's easily the most marketable Thunderbolt and they showed up in the Avengers cartoon.

I think she'd be a great fit. Hard sound constructs is an awesome power and she'd be a great pick on that alone.

So I've been thinking that with Dante, Vergil, Zero and Strider being popular sword dudes in Capcom, I'm wondering if they'll want some kind of rival for them in Infinite the way Dante and Deadpool were played off of each other in the initial trailers.

In which case, I think Marvel's swordsmen will be some combo of Blade, Gamora and Taskmaster.

I've always thought Songbird was perfect for MvC. She honestly feels like she's already a classic MvC character. She's got the looks and the abilities to easily become a fan favorite, as long as they don't completely botch her gameplay and personality.

Extra credits if you can control the behaviour of each nunchuck via a different command. Say, QCF+L lunges the first one forward, and QCF+M lunges the second one forward (i.e. L controls one, M controls the other). So you could do stuff where you could whip someone on the ground with one, then continue the combo in the air with the other (say, SRK is an angular throw), and maybe the reverse QCF and SRK motions pull someone back. H specials can be acrobatic maneuvers. The polearm could be used to vault yourself around or used more traditionally like in Injustice and Venom in GG.

I think that'd be deep and also create combos that are a lot like how Daredevil fights: controlling space by using the Billy Club as an extension of his body and always putting yourself in an advantageous physical location.

Also, please steal the metal hit sounds from Nightwing in Injustice pls

Man, now I'd love this. I'm sure it's not gonna be like this (which makes me sad), but I love the idea of being able to control the right or left hand for a character. Would be very technical, which would add some diversity in play styles.

You know, while I don't want him, since I hate fighting him, its kind of weird that no one ever wants Bishamon. I mean, I get that people might think that Victor is too silly, and Sasquatch is too dopey or Rikuo is too strangely attractive, but like I'd think more people would request Bishamon.

Still, you know its sort of a shame that Victor will never make it through. His moveset's pretty cool. Maybe one of the strength based Marvel characters could borrow some of his moves.

Bishamon is all about cutting people in half and making them commit suicide. That doesn't fly outside of Darkstalkers.

Batons: very fast, sorte range. Not powerful. But good for set ups.
Staff: Slow, but better damage and range, good at keep away.
Nunchucks: Medium range, can use for grappling, very effective in air combos.

the vision comment makes me wonder if Capcom has problems implementing a phasing character into the games....because I remember Kitty Pryde was considered at one point in MVC3 but they couldn't get her phasing to work right or something? (I have no source on this, but its what I remember)

That's very interesting news but I wonder why they would think it would be difficult enough to distinguished Ms. Marvel (now Captain Marvel) and She-Hulk. I don't really expect to see her coming back this time awhile ago tho.

It's shame that he couldn't figure out what to do with Loki, and other few characters.

Parker would've been an interesting choice. I could easily see him being a zoning character with some invisibility moves. Kingpin would've been great, too.

I really hope Sigma and Ultron aren't a thing. Both are trash, but I'd be willing to accept Ultron if Sigma isn't in. If we're getting another X character it should be either Zero or Vile.
In the trailer reveal I just assumed it was Thanos (based on the throne) with maybe Bishamon like armor
