Have been playing Darkstalkers.
Jedah is pretty whack. Outside the limb thing, he's not very interesting. Now BB Hood, that's a good character.
But Lilith tho
She's such a damn cinnamon roll and should be in Marvel

With Morrigan in the game, I feel like a Lilith spot is redundant.

Well it's like Ryu/Ken, Id rather have a DS character like Talbain, Raptor, Bulleta, Jedah, etc.,They're completely different characters though?
Everyone has different interests. I find most characters boring. So long as a lot of people are happy, I like seeing a character in.Have been playing Darkstalkers.

If we get three Darkstalkers characters again then I hope it will be Morrigan, Jedah and B. B. Hood. They would be a great set.

They could unclude Lilith just like what we got in NxC. It would be nice if Capcom can't add her as another character. But Lilith tho

Yeah, after seeing GotG2, I kind of want Yondu to get in, even if he's only got one real "power" but hey, they could probably make it work.
They don't need to keep adding assists to characters lol.
Tag system is like a reverse assist. Your point character is the assist which is supporting the character in reserve. Once you rewire your brain to understand that, then you realize that the sky becomes the limit with the system.
Iron Man does Unibeam, tags to Strider on start up, Strider does teleport command on entering for a mix up/free get in.
Chun Li does SBK to get in (horizontal) and tags on start up, SBK locks them down while getting on the opponent and your tag in characters gets a mix up/pressure.
Chris does Magnum and tags an opponent, tag into Hawkeye, does Dead Arrow into full combo (will work with every combo for big damage, probably why they are making Magnum a resource as it gives Chris a potential death combo from full screen).
This also works for aerial moves now so now you can use aerial moves as assists. Iron Man does Smart Bombs from super jump height and tags into partner, if Smart Bombs hit then you get a free combo.
Every Hyper is a threat now because say you do random Hyper Charging Star with Captain America, tag into a full combo on hit.
There will be no lack of degenerate stuff in this game. Every character will be a threat anywhere on the screen. Just about anything can be turned into a combo especially with a universal OTG system.
Can't wait until the pros get their hands on this, I already know all the Marvel heads be like...

Honestly from an early impression, this game seems much more interesting to me than umvc3 and a big part of that is the OTG system. I really hate how otgs work in 3, and I'm glad they're kinda bringing it back to the older games. Not only is it more visually appealing by being snapper, and fluid but it also allows individual characters to have longer strings, more variance and different reset opportunities. I feel like this game is going to be more reset heavy, and that excites me most.
TAC were a trash mechanic and the Tag system in this game looks to fix a lot of that while adding in a ton of depth. I've never been big on assists, so it's kinda whatever that they're gone tho this is seemingly somewhat mitigated by the tag options.
Gem abilities seem dope, Hulk with a teledash is seemingly more fun than him sitting on drone assist and I'll take a mix-up cube any day over whack factor comebacks.
His Floating Arrow could works just like Darkseid's beams.
It's only 4 months from the release date, I don't think they would change it that much. Maybe only if feedback from the builds is somewhat harsh.![]()
Yeah, you totally say everything what I'm thinking in my mind. I think I might have a lot of fun with this game but I would rather to wait until we see the finalized product because they could change anything at the end. At long, I know it wouldn't be a huge change in the product like they did with Brawl (E3 Demo) and final version of Brawl.

I really like that they decided to go back to the MVC2 layout but I'm a little afraid in the casual approach, I just hope that the easy input and combos are optional.
They certainly can't make a lot of changes between the time the game goes gold and release. They can't ship a disc that has a drastically different build than the day 1 patch, because that would cause a lot of problems. Going gold is generally around a month before release. They don't have very long.
Actually, hard to believe the game is that close to completion. Especially considering how little we know about it.
It's almost a month away, it can't come sooner lol. That means the
next few months are gonna be insane. How much longer till E3? I need my fix man

Lilith is a lot like how Dan is to Ryu. They play somewhat similarly, but are different characters.
or maybe it'll be a low content game that expands over time through DLC
This game doesn't look "realistic" to me -- returning characters look practically identical to their MvC3 versions but with more detailed costumes and the comic book shader removed. Joe wouldn't look any more out of place than X.I'm not sure if I expect them to be in, but I wonder how they'd adapt Ammy and V Joe to the Infinite visual style. Realistic looking Joe sounds horrifying.

Considering that they're reusing assets from UMvC3, I'd be shocked if we have a roster that doesn't at least equal Vanilla MvC3's.or maybe it'll be a low content game that expands over time through DLC

Yeah, but the Capcom characters still have anime eyes, Thor is still comically bulky, and so on. None of the characters have undergone fundamental design changes to accommodate the new look (some have just been given new costumes to reflect their current appearances). I'm personally not worried about certain characters being left out for aesthetic reasons.I mean it's not gritty realism, but it's definitely more live-action than comic-book compared to 3.
Low content in what way, though? Single player content? Characters? Both?
I find it hard to believe that they'd push out another empty game after what happened with SFV. That's really, really, really asking for trouble.
I'm with you and this and baffled why people are thinking this way. Guys this game has a racoon and tree fighters. How some think this game is more going realistic is anybodies guess. :/This game doesn't look "realistic" to me -- returning characters look practically identical to their MvC3 versions but with more detailed costumes and the comic book shader removed. Wolverine and Gambit have 0 chance to be in this right ?
Because Chris was basically doneI still dont get why they choose Chris instead of Leon F Kennedy.
