So no War Machine then.
Lets go more broad. Are there any characters that aren't white? Also robots and aliens do not count.
Ryu and Chun Li are Asian.

Yeah, that's probably what is going to happen.
28 seems low by MvC standards (even by fighting games released recently) that could hurt the sales/reception.

If Black Widow is pushed to the 2017 season pass, I can see Jill being on the base roster (Chris & Nemesis pair is too random IMO)

I'm as casual a MVC fan as they come and love the MCU and all of this news is massively disappointing. This is like the Smash Bros of Capcom vs fighters and if Smash 4 had like less than half at launch then all hell will break lose.

It's a direct sequel to Bionic Commando 2 on NES and you're playing the same spencer.
The redesign was just kind of confused. The concept art helps clarify it.
They were originally going to have a design that looked more closely to his rearmed look.

Yeah, it's a shame. Even with no X-Men/FF, I always thought an MCU-focused roster with some modern Marvel touches (Ms Marvel) still offered plenty of potential and variety. We aren't even getting that.
Thanks man. I really didn't know and wasn't sure. He looks like a black guy in MVC3. Maybe it was just the color palette in that game.

Yeah that's why I kept an open mind, even with the battle mechanic changes because I liked TvC on the Wii. I never knew what to expect from Capcom side but cutting SO many from MVC3? I just don't understand.
If this sells really well this Fall then I'll honestly be shocked.
