Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite Characters and Stages Roster |DT2| oh dear...

I mean obviously, IJ2 looks great and proves that. It doesn't change the fact that Marvel likely dictated the look and Capcom just can't pull it off, maybe due budget, time constants or just being bad at it.

Do you folks have receipts that marvel dictated the art style or you folks just assuming that.

Some porn for Rhaknar (NSFW):

I really don't want to have to manage two characters. Almost all of the stones are unappealing to me because they bring on stuff like custom combos or new setups. I hate labbing that stuff. Just give me something that helps my general gameplay.

Then go Mind Stone? Gives you an additional tool in neutral (command grab) and more meter when you need it.

The artstyle doesn't look bad in some of the newer stages. The better lighting helps it out A LOT.

Between the artstyle and all Marvel characters having their themes changed, I think it's a safe assumption.

I really wish they didn't mess with the themes, though. That actually sucks.

I don't disagree.

Some of the textures do look pretty nice, though. It's just hard to tell with some of the filters they're using on top of it negating them.

hopefully you can just turn it off

Yea, some of the texture is really good. Dante's coat, and Nemesis's skin. Nemesis actually looks better than like everyone else.

I don't know why Capcom refuses to tone down or disable the chromatic aberration. It doesn't look good at all.

I thought it was toned down quite a bit?

It has been but I still think they should tone it down further.

It needs to go completely.
It adds absolutely nothing to the game and only makes it worse:
It degrades the image (blurring the textures), causes weird coloring, and results in a blurry double-image effect that gives many players eye-strain, head-ache, and even naseau.

They want people to both play and watch this, and using chromatic aberration at any strength makes it both uglier and uncomfortable.

Even just straight up standard blurring would be better if they want to have a depth of field effect. Even though it ruins the resolution, at least it doesn't result in ugly/headache inducing color degradation or double image.

I wish UE4 just took this out of its toolset, because it's grossly misused.

Chromatic Aberration is in fact, an aberration, and it seems every fucking company loves to use it for some reason

Yeah a simple toggle in the options menu even on console would be the best scenario so at least people have the choice. Fast Racing RMX on the Switch had an option for it, so I don't see why a game like this couldn't also have the option.

A lot of devs seem reluctant to make it optional on consoles for some reason.

I want it completely gone, and not a toggle on consoles, because most tourneys/streamers will run on PS4 and probably stick with the default settings. What does Tekken 7 do? Is there an option on consoles?

Being able to turn it off, or force it off via editing ini files on PC is workaround, but only if you're playing on PC, where you're probably dealing with a much smaller player base as a result.

you guys thinking the PC version will have such a toggle is super cute :(
