The LP/HP, LK/HK setup is still driving me crazy. I miss the LMHS scheme. ; _ ;

MvC3 characters have 11 normals and MvCI characters have 12 normals. Thats only one more normal per character at the expense of losing a ton of special move variations.I prefer it (mostly because) I'm biased, but also there's a lot more normals and command normals now and that feels wonderful to me.

It makes sense in Street Fighter (for the most part) where every character is a martial artist, but it's pretty arbitrary in a game like Marvel vs. Capcom where most characters use weapons and magic. Firing a gun isn't a kick.I always preferred being able to differentiate punches and kicks.

Pretty sure there would only be 6 Morrigans maximum on screen since only one player can activate infinity storm at a time
Most of Capcom's fighting games in the '90s used that layout, but that was two decades ago. It just feels like a step back to me.The Punch/Kick layout was in Darkstalkers as well.

If anything, it's the stupid DD motion being more common in specials that feels like a step back. I hate it.

That's not necessarily true -- in fact, every single returning character from the last game has lost special move variations. Characters only have two versions of each special instead of three, and while in many cases that just means losing a speed/damage/distance variation of a move, there are instances where completely unique animations have been dropped to accommodate the new layout. Hawkeye can't do his backflip trick maneuver anymore (or is it the roll?), for instance. Chris lost one of his grenade types. Rocket Raccoon's traps have been completely gutted.

Rockets new moveset is going to take awhile for me to get over. I loved using log trap in game and as an assist like the noob I am. Hawkeye got the scalpel too like you said. The return of MVC2 controls doesn't bother me that much but only for the fact it fucks with his options. Both rocket and Hawkeye were on my team so this hurts.
No kidding. I usually have Hawkeyes in my team so I noticed he got couple of new tools but he appearantly lost some good tools. I don't know how I feel about that yet. Rocket Raccoon really got butchered up. In return he got a new special move which is similar to pre-existing move he already have but with stun properties which I'm not keen with. I already tried him in the demo and I still don't know how I feel about him.

Sounds like they think they're making up for that with the infinity stone system. I REALLY don't wanna see 4 Morrigans on the screen at once haha. Or even worse if both players use Morrigan and choose the same gem...
8 MORRIGANS ON SCREEN.
Fanbase:"2 vs. 2 is shit, Capcpom"
Capcpom:"How's 4 vs. 4 sound?"
Maybe you can select the same character twice on your team and we can have 8 v. 8 Morrigans
Please Lord don't let it be the bagI was playing that new mobile Spider-man game and I unlocked a wierd costume that intrigued me. It's the Bombastic Bag-man. I looked this guy up online and, lo and behold, it's Peter in a F4 suit with a bag on his head (lol).

Except one particular feature of this costume is missing in-game. Have fun guessing which it is...
They've done almost everything else
So on the jp capcom stream did we get new footage or anything?
They fucked Dante up.
I've heard they said we're definitely getting information at Evo?
What that means for D23, who knows
Yeah, all of the demo characters immediately clicked with the new(old) layout for me except Dante. Feels so damn awkward. Gonna take time to get a good feel. They fucked Dante up.

Spidey's costumes in this game will most likely be two-to-three of these
Classic
Symbiote
Miles Morales
Scarlet Spider (Either Kaine or Ben)
Maybe 2099
Maybe a really awkward looking Gwen costume
Superior?
Negative Zone
Ends of the Earth armor
Spider-man Noir
insert that one popular costume that I'm ultimately forgetting here
I too prefer LMHS
That's incredible. I suppose they had no other choice, either remove the logo and get the costume, or not have the costume at all.

I read it on another site and did not watch it myself.Sorry about double post.
Did they? What did they exactly said?
They haven't done the best Spiderman aka Supaidaman , he should just be in Marvel infinite instead though.
This game was apparently made pre-ban, meaning they retroactively removed that one symbol after the fact. Pretty sure the only reason the costume was kept at all is because it affects gamrplay.
Why wasn't CoC rettoactively edited to remove mutants, then? My guess is it might have had to do with mutants being a full type in the RPS system and removing them would have too much impact on the game (like Doom in Marvel Heroes).
