So on Max new video around this time.
https://youtu.be/A4rvymyYh7U?t=373

Chris has an extension from the prone move he had on MvC3 follow up with a shoulder (boulder) hit.
He is looking cool, actually from today's gameplay the old characters are faster and shining a little bit.

Show us more gameplay Max hopefully we can listen some new themes too!

Thinking about it a DMC villain would be pretty hard to do. Just because none of them outside vergil have any sort of lasting impact or fan presence from my outside look of things. I think we discussed it before back with the fake leak that said hell vanguard would be a character in the game. Obviously that was outlandish as all hell but it kinda nailed home how the series wouldn't really see a good rep outside Vergil when it comes to a villain.

I would say Nelo Angelo would be the closest thing but that's kind of redundant when taking in the bigger picture.

When you have to start looking at Arius, Credo, Nevan, arkham, and DmC Mundus you know you got a problem.

The only ones that came to mind would be Arkham/Jester and Vergil or Nelo. Maybe Jester could work, I guess? Would be a fitting choice to put against the teased Norman Osborn

I was thinking that we'd most likely get a DMC villain or a Strider villain over a Final Fight/Slam Masters or Bionic Commando villain but just didn't know if there was a particularly great DMC villain rep that wasn't Vergil

I'm super biased but Strider has great villain choices in my opinion. Especially the 2014 one so I hope they pull from that more.

I'm just gonna guess that if they pulled from Strider it'd be Tong Pooh with a costume to cover each of the sisters.

Ghost Rider actually has a pretty interesting moveset this time around. Hope there is alot more to him than just j.S now.

Somewhat more excited for this game.

Would Mag count as a Bionic Commando villain?

Cause she'd be cool.

Yeah that was something I noticed too with the trailer. Definitely interested in giving Ghost Rider a go in Infinite, even though he was boring as hell in 3.

Your avatar makes me want it to be tomorrow already.

I have no idea who that is, but maybe?

The only Bionic Commando villain I know besides Hitlerfaceguy is Gottfried Groeder
and Super Joe

Ah, I knew he was a Megatron in at least one series but I couldn't remember which.

He was Pyron in I think the Darkstalkers animated series? According to the BtVA page

Agreed. He was a very one dimensional character. Such a shame because hes one of the more powerful characters in the Marvel Universe and his playstyle doesn't reflect that.

You and me both lol.

Looking at MvCI's YouTube views compared to Injustice 2's is actually pretty interesting. When I looked at the Marvel vs. Capcom channel vs. the Injustice channel, I noticed a few things...
  • MvCI's story trailers get more views than Injustice 2's. The most recent story trailer for MvCI is currently sitting at 3.9 million views on their main page as of when this post was made (& I believe the original story trailer got over 5.5 million views), & it should hit 4 million by tomorrow (EDIT: The most recent story trailer just hit 4 million views as of 8/23/17). Injustice 2's story trailers usually averaged out at around 1.5 million views, though Shattered Alliances Part 1 did go as low as 534k views.
  • On the flip side, Injustice 2's character reveal trailers tend to net more than MvCI's. While Injustice 2's character reveals went as low as ~380k views (for the "Here Come the Girls" trailer) & as high as ~3.3 million views (Joker's reveal trailer). Overall, the Injustice 2 character trailers average out at around a million views, an average that holds up for the recent string of DLC characters. As for MvCI (Gameplay Trailer 5 aside due to how recently it came out), it went as high as 1.6 million views (for Gameplay Trailer 2) & as low as 34k (for the shorter version of Gameplay Trailer 1 that was shown at Capcom Cup 2016).
  • That being said, Injustice has more subscribers on its page than the Marvel vs. Capcom YouTube page. The former has 217k subscribers, while the latter has 11k subscribers.
TL;DR: MvCI's trailers had higher highs & lower lows in terms of view count. Meanwhile, Injustice 2 is more consistent in its viewership, averaging out at around a million views for each of their videos. This could be attributed to Injustice's YouTube page having more subscribers than MvC's, thus adding to the former's consistency.

If Marvel is really advertising this game full out, i really think they might hit there sales expectations.

Do we really know all the stages right now? Does anyone have a list? I think I might be on to something.
Known stages:
  • A.I.M.Brella - Control Room
  • Avengers Tower - Briefing Room
  • Dark Kingdom - Heart of Chaos
  • Knowmoon - Gravitron Core
  • New Metro City - Downtown
  • New Metro City - Crossroads
  • Training Room (not on the menu image we have)
  • Valkanda - Plains
  • Xgard - Bifrost Bridge
  • Xgard - Throne Room
  • Xgard - Hall(?) (Story only?)

Stage select in the Gamescom build:

Inhumans doesn't start until September 29th, which would be too late to advertise the game ahead of launch. That said, Marvel could advertise MvCI in front of their current string of cartoons (Avengers Assemble, the Guardians cartoon, & the recent Spider-Man cartoon). There's also Disney XD's new gaming block, which I think will feature MvCI.

  • New Metro City - Downtown
  • New Metro City - ??? (We know it exists for regular play, Max's video has it but it's not in the menu?, near A.I.M.brella)
  • Training Room (not on the menu image we have)
  • Valkanda - Plains
  • Xgard - Bifrost Bridge
  • Xgard - Throne Room
  • Xgard - Hall(?) (Story only?)

Hopefully the Hall stage is unlockable or in the final build, 11 stages for launch would be pretty good. Same as UMvC3 and most stages in Infinite look great.

Really hope more stages and characters are planned for a significant amount of time. The infinite in the title really rings the bells for that idea and I would not be opposed to seeing it expanded.

Edit: that Ghost Rider clip though... -yikes- its like for every good thing we find in this game we find 2 or 5 bad ones again.

I think we all need to come to terms with the fact that this game is a visual and audio cheapness disaster, and no, they're not going to fix these issues in a day one patch. There are just way too many.

So is it

New Metro City - Crossroads?

What is formal name for Training room?

Max didn't get to play there, I think.

EDIT:
Oh, this is the final build, not the Gamescom one. Same UI, CSS options and stages as the GameSpot footage. That Ghost Rider thing is final :(

Also basically confirms the Xgard Hall is Story Mode only?

Why does Chunli walk around like she has a diaper on and she's holding a big shit in? I saw this walking animation in Mass Effect Andromeda.
