Hi. There's some confusion here about what happened with Ryce. This was partially a miscommunication related to our system that holds back-end user data and partially I think a case where Ryce reported stuff that ended up changing because from what I can tell MvC:I is having a pretty rocky development. Although I was not the moderator that banned him, I followed up, lifted Ryce's ban and sent an explanation PM to him about what happened with our process to result in him being banned. This is sort of a case where everyone in the situation is partially at fault. If anyone has any more questions they can talk about it with Ryce when he's back and/or PM me rather than continuing in thread. As is always the case I won't discuss another user's bans in specific but I am happy to clarify elements of our process that may seem confusing in general. Sorry about any disruption to the thread and conversation.

Speaking of which, having just bought the humble bundle with dead rising 2, should I buy the first and play that beforehand? I remember when the original first came out I borrowed from a friend but couldn't play it as the text was too small for my non-HD TV, and haven't played any of the games since.

You can play either game in any order, but it miiiiight be slightly more rewarding to play the first game first.

Be warned (if you didn't know) DR1 is fairly challenging in an old school way, don't be afraid of failure and keep plowing forward. It's the kind of game that's meant to played through multiple times, but it's extremely rewarding to do so.
 
Slight problem with the art shown above. Iron Man's MvCI arc reactor is a circle, not an upside-down triangle like the Extremis & Iron Man 2 armors.

Glad to see the issue with my boy Ryce addressed.

Back on topic, man, that artwork certainly looks more appealing than this game's graphics/art style.
 
is there any footage of good haggars out there? all i can find is people playing against what looks like cpu haggar.
 
This panel is actually just a preview of all the art you'll get to unlock in the gallery mode. You'll get your art assets, but not without putting in some work first!

I'm honestly okay with that. Gives me a reason to play beyond getting better for tournaments/locals.

They should have led with art assets. That way the OT would look nice and the wikis would have good images for the infoboxes. Yes these are my priorities.
 
I'll definitely keep my mouth shut from now on. I just don't want anyone to think I've been lying or trying to mislead. Trust me, I get nothing out of this. There's a laundry list of negatives and absolutely no positives to sharing what I've heard. It's always just been about being an MvC fan and wanting to share news with fellow MvC fans. I wouldn't have said anything if I didn't completely trust who it came from.

But everything is cool now. I just want to take a step forward and put this behind me.
