spiderman is the face of marvel

wolverine is probably the other face but less so than spidey

speaking of faces please replace iron man's face with spider-man's head sticking out of the suit during his winpose

Intelli's post brought back the feels. I honestly don't think anything will top the MVC3 announcements. That game delivered on everything for me.

MVCI has had a rough pre-release, but the gameplay is looking to be quite good. I just hope Capcom's patch is a good one.
 
I'm curious how big these DLC packs will be in the future, or if they'll be bulk upgrades like Ultimate was to MVC3. Considering the early leaks, there would be a Xmen Vs SF roster update. I wonder if that would possibly be 5 Xmen and 5 Street Fighters.

If something could get my hype up for this game, it would be that. However, I will not buy the game at full price for DLC. I will have to wait until I can buy the game and the DLC for the price of a regular new release...

Unless some combination of Dan, Cody, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler made it in. Then I would give those bastards the money they don't deserve.
 
I agree 5 SF would be too much, but from a gameplay perspective, they could be very beneficial to the game if the picked the likes of:

Rashid, M.Bison, Urien, C.Viper, Akuma.

I'm not so sure about that. While I'm 80% sure we're not getting themed DLC (at least not in the format the fake leaks stated), I can def see SF getting 5 to even 7 reps in the game's lifetime. RE probably up to 6.

Something cool costume related in the gallery. Really, just more info on things outside of the roster. We're expecting to see the roster revealed within 3 weeks, and the game comes out maybe 3 more weeks from there, so hopefully we learn more about the fanservice being put into the game (if at all).

It depends on how much work they plan to put into it, and the time period between packs

If its like, a pack a year? Considering sf5 season passes are 6 characters, yeah sure. If its like 2 a year? I think you are getting 3 pieces, I think the latter is more likely. You will get that wolverine, magneto, deadpool pack

Thanks. This is probably the best quality we'll get.

I can't quite place my finger on what's going on with the look of this game. The textures seem to have this weird muddy/dirty look to them with the shading. It reminds me of the muddy look of a lot of original Xbox games. It seems so unnecessary. It doesn't make the game look any more "cinematic." The Marvel movies are bright and colorful. Making everything bright, colorful, and as crisp as possible would have looked much nicer.

Way too many vets on the X-Men side IMO. If we had to get 5 and 5, I'd prefer

Wolverine
Storm
Cyclops (with a brand new moveset like Thanos)
Nightcrawler
Magik

V

Akuma
Rashid
Juri
Nash (same as the other MvC2 vets)
Urien
 
I think 5 SF characters could be doable if they represent different games and have different movesets.

Rashid (SFV),
Remy (SF3),
Akuma (SF2),
Sodom (Alpha),
Juri (SFIV).

For X-Men, I'd want more new characters or characters we haven't seen for a long time.

Viper is literally a living embodiment of the uselessness that is everyone else's lives in street fighter. I doesn't matter how hard you trained in the mountains, how many demons you wanted to be, no matter how much psychopower you have, she just built a suit and can fucking body you.
Her win quotes are literally life advice she's the fucking best.

Juri while cool, is a collection of tropes and fetishes who is kind of sold only on her design.

I like Viper as a character WAY more than juri, and he design is tight as shit.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if they want to have a throwback bundle and call it XM vs SF. Hopefully we would get good mix of characters from many franchises for Marvel and Capcom.

I'd rather they went with various themes for packs instead of franchises. Why force overdoing franchises when you can go with fun and interesting themes like "Law and Order" for law characters, "Way of the Fist" for martial artists, "Arachnophobia" for Spider based characters, "World Domination" for evil masterminds, etc.

A theme pack based on previous entries wouldn't be a bad idea. Hell, a MvC Classic Pack would be cool as they could have Captain Commando, Hayato, Jin Saotome, War Machine, and Ruby Heart. For example.
 
I'd prefer characters come in thematic pairs as suggested above, instead of just a straight up X-Men vs SF pack of ten characters.

Black Widow vs Crimson Viper
Date Masamune vs Wolverine
Phoenix Wright vs Daredevil
Black Cat vs Felicia

And so on.
 
I get that it's the most popular franchise and one that's most relevant historically, but the idea of doing an entire DLC pack of Street Fighter characters when there's already representation in the game (unlike X-Men) sounds like a waste. Usually involves making those characters extreme versions of themselves anyways to fit in the the VS series, which is fine, but there are plenty of other great VS-worthy characters from other franchises as well that aren't represented or underrepresented.

The problem with a pack like that is that for a person that wasn't a fan of the classic MvC games there's nothing to get hyped at. Who the hell knows who any of these characters are anymore except for War Machine? And if War Machine sticks to his roots, he'll be a clone!

DLC packs should either be 100% new characters or mixes of old and new characters. That way people can get hyped for new characters no matter what.
