I feel like Sougenmou + Raikousen is just a cursed combination at this point

I mean, hopefully it gets patched away, maybe by making Raikousen's damage scale horrifically poorly when comboed directly into itself? It would still juggle like crazy, but you'd do so little damage it wouldn't be worth it.

EDIT: Actually, it already looks like the Raikousen juggling does basically no damage until Chun-Li hits the ground, at which point she gets hit and takes a good chunk of damage but is able to block the next set.

the reason chun li takes so much damage from the last lightning is because she fell out of the combo and then got hit by a raw lightning lol
rekkoha does a fuckton of damage still so thats probably what people are gonna do until they figure out some ender w zero that's an unblockable or hard to blockable

also god the music in the game is so fucking bland. that's one of my bigger disappointments for sure
 
I heard some of Spider-Man's theme. Sounds completely different like the other Marvel characters.

Morrigan's theme sounds a lot better than her MVC3 theme.
 
The aggressive damage scaling seems to have rendered lightning loops less effective, at least.

Right, that's what my edit pointed out, it looks like it's only the last raw hit that does the damage of that combo, the juggling was barely doing jack shit because of damage scaling
 
I'm also not a fan of what Reality Stone in its current state does to the game.

It's not nearly as good when you start doing Perfect Advancing Guards.


This is a viable solution for only a small subset of players tbh. And if I reality xx tag and go in before it touches you, good luck with that perfect AG.

If it stays as it is, players will also need to figure out how to look for positive trades when the opponent uses it.
 
Just realised that if you only have one character left and the other player has 2 bars you are really screwed, as presumably most non-cinematic supers can be punished with a counter switch.

So a player getting hit with a non-cinematic super can call in their tag partner? If that's true that's crazy. ASW games block Burst during supers for this very reason.
