What Combofiend was talking about was SIMULTANEOUS high + low ie. unblockables.

What I am talking about is just regular "Magneto locks you down with Cold Shots and does a tri jump high or empty low". This is not an unblockable like the previous example it's a mix up. This does not work anymore because now the game auto blocks everything once you are in block stun.



Well less in Marvel 2 because you had a pseudo high/low protection in that game as well to some extent (due to a bug), otherwise no one would actually be able to block Magneto past the initial mix up.

In this game, with the nerf to chicken block you have to mix them up right as block stun is about to end.

I know what you are talking about. Yeah, it was mentioned awhile ago so I'm pretty sure on that.

That flaw is something that is going to be exploited by a Morrigan player. If they are in a situation where they prefer to tag out, it would be pretty risky if they can't cover it, since there is recovery from tagging raw.

Honestly, the omission from UMvC3 that I'm missing the most is Amaterasu. Her not making the base roster is really worrying to me.

Like many other people have theorized, characters like Firebrand and Nemesis making the cut while Wesker and Vergil sit on the sidelines is likely so those more popular characters can be sold as DLC later. But Amaterasu isn't nearly as popular as the Wesker/Vergil/Akuma tier of characters.

If she doesn't end up being a base roster surprise, I'm legitimately concerned she won't make the game at all, and that would probably seal the deal on me not getting this game.
