Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite Characters and Stages Roster |DT2| oh dear...

I think the best part of this game is all of us realizing that it's not gonna be casual friendly at all. I mean yes if you have two people who have no idea what they are doing, then it will just look like a mess of gameplay, similar to how it looked if you watched two n00bs play MVC3. But if you have someone who sort of knows what they're doing vs someone who doesn't know much, they're gonna get bopped faster than they can say Infinite.

But at least SFV pretended it was casual friendly with its awesome Rise Up campaign and stuff. Thats how it got me to play SFV and actually BUY costume DLC for Cammy. I eventually walked away though. It wasn't for me at all. Kinda like this game isn't for me at all. Lol

I mean if anything it's obvious that MvC Infinite is going to be a lot more fun than SF V probably ever will be. I'm saying that partly because I'm an MvC fan and I've always enjoyed the more high octane gameplay of the series, but more importantly it looks to at least be pretty innovative and unique in terms of the battles that can play out with all the tagging and movement options.

I think the worst aspect of SF V isn't the lack of content, but rather the lack of a fun mechanic which brings the game together. V-Trigger was supposed to be that mechanic, but overall it feels cheap in execution and it doesn't make you feel too good when you win with a crush counter into V-Trigger cancel combo. It just feels very dry in terms of fun factor.

Is there like a vid per character showing off the moves? Like they did with SFV?

If anything, I'm sure the "Gamescom trailer" will be the exact same trailer as the rest where they will reveal returning characters and possibly the last infinity stone. If there is a new character, that would be greatly appreciated (as long as it wasn't apart of the leaked list, to which we already know the final set of characters that will make up the rest of the initial roster).

The funniest thing is that SFV actually IS a beginner friendly game.

Low execution requirements, very straightforward characters, reduced skill ceiling.

Yeah, SFV is easy as hell to play. Knowing basic 2D fighting game concepts, bread n' butter combos and reversals, and some decent execution will be enough to take you very far online.

Darkhawk for DLC :3

as a fan, you should love to quote your images aswell :3

Like I've said before, the game is obviously not made with accessibility in mind. Every time they've talked about it, it's really only been lip service.

Even not going as far as combos and tags, the button layout, for example, is immediately less accessible than 3 and TvC.

There is literally a single button that does 10+ hit combos for you.
Another button can do full supers. There's a tag button. It tags.

The game is very accessible.

Just because it gets complicated at higher levels doesn't mean it's not accessible at lower levels.

DS4 with d-pad. I don't mind analog stick but I can't do SRK motions for shit on it.

Might use stick if I'm not feeling DS4.

They're just low priority characters when there's only so few spots. They're no longer associated with X-Men, at least Wanda isn't.
Future Fight & Lego Marvel 2 both have everyone but the kitchen sink while being impacted by the ban (or formerly impacted in Future Fight's case), yet they don't have the Twins (to be fair, Lego Marvel 2 doesn't have its full roster announced yet, but things aren't looking good for Pietro & Wanda).

Personally I'd be in favor of this getting a mercy kill and leaving the MVC brand alone.
This close to release? If anything, that'd be a guaranteed way to sour relations between Marvel & Capcom as well as screwing Capcom over financially even worse.
