Man this is nuts. So many kids are gonna be disappointed this Christmas if they get an open since it doesn't have this. Can't wait to play this! Def pre ordering now!

It's really awesome to see that they recreated the animation from the movie. Can't wait to play this.

How are they doing this? It kinda has the "FEEL" of the movie too. Is that part of the pre-order too? Or is that a mode in the game that we'll be able to change it to.

He even swings like the Miles from spiderverse...he even has the dive jump from the iconic movie escene, what's up danger?

I want the Hoodie and Jordans 1 version too tho, spiderverse Miles it's the only Miles i like.

My brother pointed out he even has the same animation frame-pacing. It looks tremendous.

Yeah, the frame pacing it's the main gimmick they are advertising, i was pointing out that the animations and poses themselves are straight out of Spiderverse making the character move like that Miles.

Spiderman game was not for me in the end but damm isomniac really grow into a fine studio
the scale and the speed they can pump visually impressive content i think make them even more impressive than ND.

I don't recall broken framerate being the standout new animation technique used in the movie, as it stands - this is a pretty nice looking material filter applied to a framerate limiter to give it a flipbook animation style - so... broken/bad framerate is a new artstyle on PS5. Can't stand the bad framerate, count me out.

good try at trolling

Hey, if you can't see that the framerate is being limited to achieve a flipbook animation style - that forces a limit on the framerate, at least on the character itself - not my problem.
Erm.

I'm not sure what tree you're barking up, but the framerate pacing for that suit is to replicate the style of the animated film.
By all means don't use it.

It's not the framerate being limited fivehead, it's only the character animation having some of the interpolation frames cut out and keeping the key frames.
iu

Framerate limiter

Also the devs have confirmed the low-frame the suit have is un moddifier of the suit that can be disabled.

No an animated film run's at 24fps consistently, as did the Spiderman film.

That suit is keyframed at 8 frame's per second. Before you attempt to argue this go ahead and keyframe a character that replicates that technique at over 8 frames a second and see if it comes close to matching that example.

It Wont. But.. go ahead I'll wait, meanwhile - ERM.

LIKE I SAID.

I wont be touching that hideous 8FPS slideshow artstyle.

Count me out.

Wait, I'm reading that I need to buy the Ultimate Version which includes the 2018 release to get this suit. Is that true? I mean, I platinumed the 2018 game in 2018 and already bought and played through all the dlc.

I'm really hoping that the suit is a pre order without the need to purchase the same game again.

It's an early unlock for preorders.

You can unlock the suit playing the game if you haven't preordered.

My goodness you're odd.

the animation / frame-rate in the movie was broke depending of the character, skip 2 frames, 3 frames (every character move at different frame pace ). the Frame rate increase at the end when the characters get used to their powers. There's a documentary about the art style of the movie. Cool stuff.

About 10 min. of gameplay with the new Spider-verse suit:

It still bothers me that there is a speed cap on swinging and you notice at times that you sort of slam up against it and slow down a bit mid air when he shouldn't be, it made post game city swinging a lot less interesting for me.

Well I watched the entire Marvel Centric 12 minutes video on the suit, considering just watching the character made me feel nauseous and nauseated - like I was playing a VR game at Sub Framerates - And it is obvious the character is keyframed at 8frame per second intervals. Again - Count me OUT.

Give it a rest, you started talking about the game being frame limited and then switched to the character and so on. Yes, the character has less animation frames to match the movie style while the game itself keeps running normally, even the fucking promo video tells you so at the start 💁‍♂️

Uhh excuse me but I won't be getting lost because you're some hapless fanboy wrongly trying to argue a point I made about the game frame limiting that artstyle, you sir can take your own advice I'll simply ignore you. You're off base and hapless as is evident by you're useless replies.

Meanwhile, as I said Originally and clarified after - makes me nauseous and nauseated - Count me out.

Again, please take your own advice and quit trying to boss and dictate to people/others on forums as if you're some kind of steward of what people can and can't say. Useless.

This looks good , like really good, but I'm so over the whole "Look! A black character! Let's overlay a hip hop beat over everthing!"

Me right now...

The quickness in the level of asset streaming. The speed at which the character just swings through literally multiple blocks of complex geometry......... that rendering pipeline is truly something else. IO solution flexing very hard on this game.
