I'm really hoping there is. I played through the game on a copy that I borrowed from a friend, so I was playing it with no DLC at all (not even the free DLC you get with a new copy), and I'm pretty anti-DLC anyway, so I think it'd be worth it to me to wait to buy a version like that and play through again with all the extra content.APZonerunner said:Worth saying for those wondering if there'll be a GOTY edition with all the DLC on 360, it's pretty likely to happen. There's one more piece of Shadow Broker sized DLC to come (plus Genesis, which is slated to come to PC/360 at some point as a Cerberus free download) so I imagine any disc-based 'ultimate edition' will come after that DLC releases, which I reckon will be around E3 time when the ME3 hype machine starts in earnest.

I got to a point where it wasn't letting me create a new save and I was only able to overwrite a previous save.Acidote said:Save cap? What do you mean?

Didn't know that. Thanks!jcm said:This might be old news, but Amazon has a $10 preorder credit for Mass Effect 3. It's risk-free, because they don't charge your card until they ship, and they guarantee they'll charge you the lowest price they offer between now and release.

360. I've got all the programs mentioned in that Bioware thread, I think it's a matter of hardware--or rather, what I'm using to connect that hardware, because my 360's HDD isn't being recognized. When they said transfer cable, I automatically assumed it was the transfer cables that Microsoft bundles in with their larger HDDs.Barrow Roll said:PC or 360?
Perhaps a bit longer on hardcore or insanity? I think gamers should play it on one of those levels anyway, even if they're going through the game on normal.mauaus said:2hrs tops
It's been a few months since I dicked around with save editing. All of my bookmarks are at home and I'm at work right now. When I get home I'll take a look at it again and see if I can help you out. I never used a transfer cable and I don't think you need one if you have a USB stick.Sai said:360. I'm wrong, right?

That didn't jive with me so I looked it up, turns out you have to send him back with the crew as the escort for him to survive. Doesn't make sense to me but it worked when I tried it.

It is true indeed.lucius said:Is it true it is easier to play Insanity on a new playthrough because if you continue another playthrough with a high level character the game enemies adjust to your characters level?

* Sai starts digging.
[EDIT] - Okay, I've found it.
So, are you able to add additional powers to your squadmates as well? Please say yes!

While that is one way, it is not the only way.

Very interesting. I don't know if I want to useIf you in the mood to try it you can add a really interesting squadmate early. Here is a link to do it http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/105/index/1585456Legion

Do they have 8 slots like Shepard? Or are you only limited to one additional power each?
Very interesting. I don't know if I want to use, but I am very interested in delaying thatLegion early. I complained about that earlier in the first ME2 thread because I thought it was weird that they didn't allow you some time to do a few more missions and talk it out withReaper IFF timerbefore you're practically forced to go through with bothLegionit's loyalty mission, and the Suicide Mission.

The Ultimate Sacrifice
- Complete the Arrival DLC
Last Stand
-Survive all five waves in the battle for Object Rho
Covert Action
-Rescure Dr. Amanda Kenson without attracting hostile attention.

Oh wow didn't realize that. Seems kinda silly on Sony's part, mmm?xKilltheMx said:Download the DLC now, then delete it if you need the space. After this it should be on your download list and you'll be able to redownload it.
edit: btw you dont need to have the game to DL the content, anybody can DL the free stuff from the PS Store.
