mp seems pretty solid. movement ability makes this a lot of fun.
Despite the jank and some seriously questionable design decisions, the game is starting to click with me. It is Mass Effect. I'm probably 7 hours or so in.
Why does it feel like Kesh is talking about Bioware when you ask him about his Job.
Kesh is female.
I still can't get over the fact that the Science Officer has the same first name as my girlfriend.
Also, I never again want to play a sci-fi game with "ruins from an ancient vanished superior alien race that must be figured out centuries later" trope. This is so played out at this point.
What country of origin is the name Suvi from anyway?
I definately dont like the woman complaining about her tired face.
Shes rude. She should be happy im here. I didnt ask you to be my mom. I was just like hey are with my dad? And shes on this planet, it took 600 years to get there, this doesnt make sense.

Every time I go to do strike missions it keeps saying im offline but im obviously not since I can play mp. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
How long is the game?
Okay, this becomes a completely different and better game once you leave Eos. Actually starts to feel like Mass Effect.
Conversely, I've seen a guy post his completionist gameplay time at about 57% completed, and he's already at 51 hours.A YouTuber, SkillUp, has said it took him around 35 hours-ish to complete, and that is without bothering with all the fetch this fetch that sidequests.
Any else is disappointed with how they hande things when you meet the Angara? It's like the story was written by a 10 year old...

No, the problem is that no one has any gear at the moment unless they paid for it or poop-socked the game all day. There's also the fact that with randoms, no one is willing to use consumables because it feels like a "waste" to use them.Playing more of the multiplayer, I've come to the conclusion that this is a highly tactical game where you NEED 3 other competent teammates to be worth a single shit, even on Bronze difficulty (the easiest difficulty there is). I can't roll with that. I'm still enjoying the single player and am on Eos or whatever but I'm definitely taking this back to Red Box tomorrow and picking up Horizon: Zero Dawn again since I didn't get too far in that before returning it.
Maybe further down the line once the hardcore players are still grinding out the co-op it'll be better but for now, most random teammates are brain dead and don't understand that not every wave is "Survival." Yeah, those "Device" waves? Those require effort.
Wow, listening to the bombcast and they really don't like this game.
Friend just told me he beat the campaign in like about 15 hours. Eh? Wut?!

Maybe there will be an exploit like in ME3 that will allow people to farm credits quickly. lol
I'm 18 hours in and my save file says I've only completed 21% of the game.
Well thats all well and good, but if its full of filler stuff like from DAI (which is widely reported) then I have no interest to 100% it. I was hoping for a large fleshed out story
It should still be 20-30 hours if you ignore the open world busy work. Personally I like to play my games on the hardest difficulty so I almost never just run through the main quest, but in games like Inquisition and Andromeda it's certainly something a lot of people ought to do to keep enjoying the game. Open world bloat just isn't that fun, it's 90% potatoes and 10% meat.
It was basically like this in ME3 to be honest. I forgot how insane the loot system can be, because you basically need 10 copies of each card to fully level up everything, and there isn't anyway to choose what you want other than to exhaust the pool of available cards by grinding out basic packs. You wouldn't think gear would affect the easiest difficulty in a regular game but this is EA and has micro transactions so, welp, get on finding out those glitches ME:A community! Nobody wants to spend a dime on your bullshit to stand a chance on the EASIEST difficulty.
