I've never been to a massage parlor before, but I think I'm going to go this weekend. Is there any advice I should follow?

I'm in LA for reference. A coworker was telling me about some Thai parlors that he said will hurt a lot, but I'll feel "amazing" tomorrow...which I expected the opposite. A pleasant hour, and afterward $50-60 lighter and feel the same the day after. I'm hoping this will be a positive experience, really curious if I've been missing out.

Cool. What's a decent price to pay for a massage? I was expecting $50, but can't tell if that will get you a good one.

In the Seattle area, $75-85 is pretty average. Not sure about LA.

for LA most places are 25 - 50$ an Hour for most spots. there usually pretty great so I wouldn't worry too much

also quite a few place do happy endings so if your not lookin for that avoid speicals that have a vague names.

Thai massages are good because they incorporate stretching. It's the stretching that makes the difference for me. Otherwise, massage is like... eh, candles and music with minimal physical benefits.

If it's cheaper or you can get it covered by insurance, I'd find a sports masseuse that includes a lot of stretching.

If you've gone to the right place, It'll be part of the massage.

If it's not a happy endings massage, you'll feel great, if a little sore.

If it's a happy endings massage, you'll feel great. Maybe embarrassed, or thrilled.

Either way, please tip well. When I worked front desk at a regular spa, and people didn't tip, it pissed the masseuse off. They didn't care about erections since it came with the territory, they just wanted to pay their bills.

You'll be fine, and have no reactions they haven't seen before. They also know they may be blackballed if they act on your arousal.
