Stardew Valley will be perfect for the Switch. Really excited for it. I played a few hours on PC, but I didn't like it there that much. Just not the kind of game I want to play on a PC all day. Will be much better in handheld mode for me
Someone recommend me a cool game for tabletop mode

Looks like shit. I thought Nintendo was being selective about Switch developers in order to keep shovelware to a minimum?

Is there much of a single-player component for when friends aren't around? I mean, I can play Asteroids Deluxe for days, but still. We don't have a thread for this game and couldn't think of a better place to post it, here's Astro Duel Deluxe which is out on the eShop tomorrow:

I really didn't pay much attention to indies before getting the Switch, being more of a "AAA only" gamer. What a mistake that was, as I've purchased and put several hours into many fun indie games on the Switch and now actively look for more.
I've really enjoyed the recommendations here and on Reddit, and have a lot to play because of it.
Purchased: Mr. Shifty, Snake Pass, NBA Playgrounds, The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth +, Has Been Heroes and Jackbox 3.
Looking at getting Thumper, Wonderboy, Rime and Yooka-Laylee (when it releases) next.

I've had this game on my iPhone for years. It's an alright game, in that two players can play on a single phone. It's very simple, you can only turn in one direction. I wonder how many people have paid for it on mobile. $15 seems way too much.
Here is the list updated so far with the Nindies for Switch. Let me know with a PM if Im missing any

EDIT: added Picontier!
Is Zombie Vikings really confirmed for Switch? Last I read was that they made a quick port for Switch, but that they still needed Nintendo's approval?
EDIT: Found a Switch trailer for the game, but that seems to be a fan-made Switch trailer? Is there any released by Nintendo?
Not sure now if it is 100% confirmed. They have this video from january: https://twitter.com/ZoinkGames/status/822472602660835328
And they are bringing already Flipping Death as well.
EDIT: so yeah, I guess it's pretty much confirmed:
You've teased the prospect of Zombie Vikings on Switch (on Twitter), do you have an update on this?
We did a quick test with Zombie Vikings on the Switch and it works out really beautifully with two players with the two Joy-Con. I really want to do it and even though it's early it looks like Nintendo is positive to it. If we get it approved, then it will release as early as this summer.
No, that's not confirmed. They ported it (since they have a devkit), but yet no confirmed go-ahead from Nintendo (although they seems positive):

This game is meant to be played with a bunch of friends talking trash and taking each other out. If you find yourself in the company of like-minded friends on a semi-regular basis, this game could provide some great laughs and fun. I absolutely can see where, especially with a bit of liquid enhancement, it could make for a great party game. Unfortunately, if youre generally only going to be able to play the game by yourself, or the people you can play with dont roll retro, it is hard to give it a recommendation. Correctly scoring a game with such a laser-focus on a goal that it hits but that, by design, misses so much of the general audience is a challenge
Did anyone pick up Astro Duel Deluxe? Seems like a fun adaptation of an iPad party game.

Had a look at some of the reviews and was a bit baffled with the Nintendo World Report one, which essentially praises the game for its multiplayer charms, but docks it for not being a great single player game:
If A.D.D. succeeds at doing what the devs set out to do - a multiplayer/party game - it feels unfair to take off points because it's not a compelling single player game. The Switch is so young and no one has data on what its general audience likes that it's somewhat disingenuous to assume Astro Duel Deluxe misses the "general audience", surely? It would be wrong to assume that a game has to appeal to a general audience in order to score highly too, sometimes people don't know what they want until they try it.
I bought Astro Duel Deluxe. It's a very polished game, and the blocky 8bit graphics actually make sense, since you need to shoot the pilot after shooting the ship. Making it less realistic retains the party game feeling.
I agree with the reviewers: it's a really great local multiplayer game, but for the price some sort of good single player content could be expected.
Glad it's good. The question I was asking was: Is it fair to dock a game that's made to do multiplayer just because it doesn't include single player? Imagine if multiplayer had become the expectation for a game to be a certain level of "good", does that mean Breath of the Wild can't be "good"? Of course not.
I mean, they're charging twice the price for the Switch version. I'm glad it's good, but it doesn't seem to include twice the content. They might get fewer complaints if it was a $5 game
