Soooo maybe that 10 Lib Dem seats might be optimistic.

Also if Channel 4 turn their coverage in to a revamp of 10 O'Clock Live again, I wouldn't be unhappy. Their studio team has been pretty good.

Ed Balls going to be defeated?

I almost laughed out loud here at work when I heard the guy on the stream call his name out. I feel like an ass for laughing at a name, but it caught me off guard.

Who wouldn't vote for Balls, though?

I dont get these swing from lab to UKIP when lab has been up in them?

UKIP were coming from a very low base, and Labour has no more votes to get.

Weird things happens with smaller parties in seats with such massive majorities, it doesn't really matter.

I actually genuinely hope the Liberal Democrats can cling on. Without them, the prospect of electoral reform is so much worse and the meaningful amount of choice the electorate has is diminished. They deserved to be punished, but this... this is too much. :(

Lots of people seem to not like Mr. Balls here. Can anyone link me something to read to inform me about why that is?

They don't have £250,000 spare to put candidates up for seats they can't defend deposits. It would genuinely be that dire. The BBC exit poll is effectively predicting the death of the Liberal Democrats as a viable nation-wide party.

Crazy. Where in turn then would those Lib Dem votes go? Which other party would benefit most from this if it did happen?

Can you blame ANYONE left-leaning for not voting for them, though?

Look, they really should have considered this before selling their souls. That never ends well.

I know, I know, but it's a collective action problem. They needed punishment, but if every person lumps on a little bit of punishment, it suddenly becomes far too much.

Nick Robinson, BBC Political Correspondent, he knows everything about politics, if you have to listen to one man about politics, listen to him

I know. Very odd -- what does a LIbDem supporter in the last election get from supporting UKIP in this one?

clegg ran a bit of an anti-politics campaign in 2010, especially about giving someone other than the big 2 a chance and talking about broken promises etc (lol). ukip do the same.
