Jojo is so unbelievably terrible backstage that she is so far at the bottom of the list she doesn't even compared. At least Eden has a semblance of personality. Lilian, eh I don't really care.

I can't decide what's my favourite bit, the first girl's awkward "yeah" after he super-awkward promo attempt, Orlando Jordan just sauntering in the middle of it all or the dude at the end failing to kick a box over in anger. Fantastic stuff.

I saw it on Maffews twitter and with where it cut out I was 100% convinced it was porn.

"According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Christian (William Jason Reso) was released from his WWE active performer’s contract. This is looked at as more of a technicality, as he has been retired from in ring action. He still has an agreement with the company to produce Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness. Christian hasn’t wrestled since suffering a concussion in March of 2014."

JoJo isn't any good though, but that won't stop people from reducing her to two ass cheeks instead of a human being that sucks at their job.

You are totally right about really big dudes going elsewhere because the money is better. Donovan Dijak is the only really big tall dude on the indies that immediately comes to mind and he's doing real stupid shit like crazy dives already.

There are some monsters waiting at the PC but as you said, they seem to take an age to train them and the PC hit/miss rate right now is pretty terrible.
They had Matt Morgan and he got released not long into his brief career. They paired him with Big Shoe so it makes him less impressive, so that was bad. And they then gave him a stuttering gimmick. Another one that springs to mind is Mordecai/Kevin Thorn and they did pretty much nothing with him, despite a pretty interesting character that could've rivaled instantly with 'Taker. The problem isn't simply they don't want to build up tall guys (they do, albeit briefly aka Khali and Kozlov), it's just nowadays they don't know how or have the patience to. And, like Harper, many of them do not stand out either in-ring or in their persona. Yoko had an incredible gimmick. Stroman doesn't. That is the biggest difference to me.

Top of page, again?

Eden is gorgeous and is much better than whatever the hell Jojo does

JoJo is...not great at the job she has. Garcia has a longer record of botching announcements, but that's mostly because she's been around for so long. Stiles should be the primary ring announcer going forward.

could never
I like Eden more than Jo Jo. Probably because she looks and acts a lot like someone I used to know a few years back.

Eden has a much stronger grasp on professionalism and an intangible "maturity" about it. Definitely prefer her. Wonder if that S1 of Total Divas is coloring my perception of JoJo. That shit was so bad.

I would hope so, there's like a good decade between the two.

Royal Rumble 1998 is a crazy show.

I love Rock/Shamrock. The first ten minutes of the RR match is probably the most memorable section of any RR, which is amazing as the actual match isn't well regarded by most.

Goldust and Vader were also pretty neat. Gotta finish the title match later today.

Da Meltz (via 411 so who knows) says the dream is dead:

– Despite rumors that it may become a “Bash at the Beach” WWE Network special, the June 29th show in Hawaii will just be a regular live event, and not aired on the WWE Network.

– Rumors that Brock Lesnar is working the show are also false. Lesnar was never even asked about working the date and WWE is not advertising him for the show.

– There is talk of doing another special during the Japan tour this year. Last year’s Beast in the East special was the most-watched non-PPV show up to that point in network history.

Also Asuka and Charlotte will both be there, but if they're having a match it's not confirmed/announced yet

Eden is pretty but she's an awful ring announcer. The way she says "his opponent" drives me insane.

I much prefer Jojo but the WWE really needs to bring in Melissa Santos. She is fantastic.

They need to bring the writer back who created Mordecai. Simply so I can hear leaks of his crazy ideas. He's the same guy who coined heidenreich being a frozen Nazi soldier and Paul Heyman(a jew) would acompany him to the ring. 😂. Vince backed all the way the fuck up and said nope.

Bruce Prichard created the idea, I think.

I was listening the other week to the Muhammad Hassan interview from a while ago and he mentioned Jim Cornette creating that one.

That rumble match is great simply for the NoD civil war. They had been at each others neck for the longest and you finally start to see the family whip each other's ass. Reminds me of Good Times.

I'm amazed Vince didn't run with it...
If it were 15 years prior, he would've ran with it so Hogan could've vlasted the soldier. Vinnie is probably saving that gimmick for camp wwe now.

It was Dan Madigan, the same crazy coon who gave the infamous "See no evil" interview. Where Vince said Kane needs a 3 foot penis.

After Madigan had finished pitching the idea, everything went quiet. Then after a few seconds of silence, a stunned Vince (in a rare moment of modesty and taste) slowly got up from his chair, put on his coat and grabbed his briefcase, and walked out of the room without uttering a word. The rest of the writing team were equally shocked; after Vince left no-one else in the meeting knew what to say. Madigan was unrepentant and explained: “I thought these were good ideas: inside my mind, it worked out well.”

Shackled and sporting an orange jail jumpsuit, WWE superstar Adam Rose appeared in Florida court Thursday in his domestic violence case ... where his wife begged the judge to cut the guy a break. Rose was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly roughing up his wife -- and then smacking the phone away from her when she called 911. He's been charged with battery and tampering with a witness.

The judge wanted to hit Rose with a restraining order -- barring him from contact with his wife. But shockingly, she begged the court to reconsider ... because she wants him to come home. During the hearing, Rose's wife said they have a special needs child who needs both parents.

Rose's lawyer also argued Rose's actions were "not aggressive or painful" but rather "more of a passionate, 'Hey, let's talk about this.'" The judge mentioned a PREVIOUS domestic violence incident in March -- and expressed concern about a pattern of abusive behavior. But in the end, Rose's wife got her wish ... and the judge held off on the restraining order.

The judge also set a low bond -- $1,000 -- which means Rose will probably be out of custody by the end of the day. He's been ordered to see his pastor for counseling once a week until his next court date in June.
She'll get used to seeing him, at home. Sad.
