Absolutely. One of the best action films I've seen, and one of the best shot films in the past 20 years. Made me realise that very few have really pushed the boundaries of cinematography recently.
FE better be working out hard to haul you up on his shoulders?

I fell into a youtube hole of watching random second screen App promos after someone posted the last ever Raw second screen segment on reddit, feat the PTP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7-IZyxEHhk)
holy shit most of the roster would be over if they had these on the actual show, they are loose, funny, feel real and speak way more to the wrestlers characters than those stupid scripted interviews that are all essentially the exact fucking same. PTP, Cody, Kiddsaro, face New Day, Alicia Fox, 3MB (Drew Galloway was in this thing with HORNSWAGGLE??) all of them had great stuff on it. Tumblr would be losing its collective mind over the Alicia Fox/Tom Philips romance angle which is very FnP.
Sure their are some stumbles and its not all super smooth but that's kinda in right now, its very millennial. It feels more in touch with pop culture than what amounts to your local drama ensemble's kid friendly retread of the Attitude Era that is today's product. I guess its because Vince/mainline production didn't have anything to do with it and it was treated as a non canon I'd guess.

I want to preface this by saying I don't hate Roman Reigns. I even sympathize with him. He will eventually be a big star if he is allowed to grow organically.
That being said, I don't like that they've given him character traits that suit Dean Ambrose's face character best. The whole lone wolf, one versus all, coming from out of nowhere, smiles bloodily when he gets his rear kicked... I feel like they all fit Dean's Lunatic character a lot more.
I also don't like that he seems to constantly need Roman Reigns' help in this EC build-up. Objectively, if you look at what's portrayed on the storyline, Dean would NOT have his title opportunity at EC if Roman hadn't helped him time and time again.
While friendship is great, and SHIELD reunion nods are great (even if premature), this doesn't feel like a two-way street. Reigns would never NEED Ambrose's help, in fact in his WM build-up he was portrayed exactly like a lone wolf type.
But it looks like the writers/bookers/Vince feel like 1) Dean Ambrose is not believable in that role, he couldn't stand up to the authority and get out on top by himself and 2) Roman Reigns needs to stay popular and relevant in the main event while we figure out what to do with him next. (note that Randy has been off tv since Payback)
So in the end, I sort of resent that Dean Ambrose is being anchored down by being dependent on Roman Reigns' help. Dean has been the most entertaining he's been in ages (ever since bizarre hologram/exploding monitor losses and THE STREAK of PPV losses have hurt the character's credibility). I really feel like he could be almost Stone Cold-ish if only he'd be allowed to go alone against the Authority and still, somehow come out on top.
I mean in Raw when he came out with the Cop suit and the batons you could justifiably have him go over the Authority for one segment: he had the element of surprise! He had equalizers!
Anyway, looking forward to another chapter in Rollins/Ambrose and hopefully (eventually) the WWEWHC Shield triple threat we all want.

App promos were pretty much the only place where reall promos happened.
Everything else is just Vince McMachon's shitty soap opera and the John Cena promo #124321
I think there's little doubt that if the promos were less scripted (just talking points) we would have a much better and natural sounding product. And it would help the better talkers to not be constricted by the scripts.
Even if they do mess up it would be something that separates it from any other entertainment.
Wrestling should try to separate itself from other forms of media not conform or blend in.
Only reason why they try to blend in is because of the unfounded Madison avenue bias with advertising.
Roman is the guy 100%. Dean is just there to appease certain audience members and to make Roman look like a human being rather than a Vince McMahon scripted and directed doll.
Dean is going to lose at EC in some unconvincing finish that makes Rollins look weak as usual. Rematch at MiTB to get Dean out of the MiTB match itself. He will lose. Roman is going to win MiTB, Seth is going to get destroyed by Lesnar at Summerslam. Roman is going to announce his cash in and beat Lesnar clean sometime later.
Every Raw will open with 20 minute Authority segments with whiny baby Seth snd his parents Steph and HHH admonishing/emasculating him but still stacking the odds against Roman who will overcome the odds. Lesnar will get suspended again after calling Steph a bitch. Dean will be involved in IC 5 man matches. Owens will have lost twice to Cena at this stage.
Darkest timeline. Balee dat.

Don't read much into this crowd, they bought tickets expecting a house show, which is a different set of casual fans.
They cancelled a house show for this, but it was in Greenville, South Carolina.
There should be tons of cena fans there so he should get some type of heel reaction.

No, Corpus Christi was a live event too. It was one of those deals where they split the roster and run two tours at once. They canceled the Greenville show to have the whole roster in Corpus Christi.
The people going to the Corpus Christi house show got upgraded to a PPV.

I like to think it's accepted that his title win is an inevitability within the next year at some point, really I just didn't want to see him go over God King Lesnar at Mania with Cena style comeback booking, if he trumps Seth in a few months I ain't even mad.

It's just when he tries to be THE guy. He does fine as part of an ensemble or with a buddy like Rundown and Pain & Gain. His HBO series looks really bad too.
I thought GI Joe 2 was pretty good and he was basically THE guy of that movie. Scorpion King, Rundown, and Walking Tall were all pretty fun too.
You could put Prime Arnold or Stallone in San Andreas and it would still look boring.
The premise of San Andreas is the usual shit we've often seen. If I ever see it (most likely Netflix), it's because of The Rock. He's the sole reason I've watched almost ever other movie he's been in, Pain & Gain, GI Joe, Snitch, etc.. He's a big reason to watch the Furious movies now, too.
