First one sold 90k on first week....but well, DOA3 sold >200k too and DOA4 still less than 100k. Expected but weak.
Funny on your part, but DQ7 actually was in development for Saturn at one point. :xjeremy1456 said:Yes, we all enjoyed playing DQV on the Genesis.
Oh and do you remember how awesome it was when Enix announced DQVII for the Sega Saturn?

Btw, at what point was MegaDrive leading Super Famicom or even PC Engine in Japanese sales month to month?

Rock_Man said:Most of the YTD's are incorrect, but your LTD's are spot on except from the combined GBA sales. They should be 15,280,180.

Heh, yeah. My no-research guess is that last week's PS2/PSP numbers were low because of people wanting a PS3... but they realized that was a fruitless effort and went ahead and got what they wanted this week. So last week's and this week's averaged make for a normal PS2/PSP week.Forgotten Ancient said:Momentum!

Already possible, more or less. I haven't gotten around to the variant being talked about last week where one could view a console-only, portable-only, or certain-manufacturer-only chart.LOCK said:Oh man the Wii will kill pacman.
Maybe we should combine the DSL and Wii so pacman will live next week. A mutation of sorts. :lol

This is oustanding. The other figure was even more impressive though: the DS will have sold in about 2 years the same amount of units than the GBA in its entire lifetime. This DS console is destined to break records in Japan. And it will do so going beyond the usual console audience. This mere Sega game example shows Nintendo suceeded in creating a product that sells as much to gamers as to non gamers. And there's no reason the wii won't mimic this pattern. People can say all the things they want (mostly handlelds =/= consoles), I have no doubt we'll witness the same type of success.jamesinclair said:I like how the DS sold 200k in a normal non-holiday week, and nobody flinched.
