It's not like Namco doesn't know how to advertise properly for the Wii. They advertised the absolute hell out of Taiko Wii and we can see how that's going for them. I suppose that Taiko fits in with the Wii audience more than Fragile, but it seems more like an issue of letting them know the game exists and what it's about. For a decently long time I kept getting Fragile confused with Fracture, they've done nothing for this game to get it in the public eye. We know an RPG audience is there after Symphonia 2, which had decent advertising. They really should know better.

They don't advertise it because they want it to fail to justify not doing their best for the Wii.

If it underperforms, it hurts them, too, so I seriously doubt they're doing it on purpose. From the trailer, it seems like it has good production values, which should translate into them wanting to push it hard. :/

Where is my ... Famitsu leak!!

Not out, yet. As long as it eventually comes out, I'm fine with getting it after the new thread is posted. I'm more dismayed about the lack of continued updates at ELSPA. They posted October and nothing since. :(

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.

JJS: is there any way to tell how recent garaph has been updated? I was thinking it was a 2 week lag but I want to be certain before running with this stuff.

That'd be my guess.
Yeah, that'll take you to the most recent week with Famitsu software data. MC hardware data is always more recent and can be seen by following the "Next week" links.

Trusty Bell. It should do better. I mean, the userbase disparity alone should help it out.
Yes, X360 has a small userbase and some games still do decently on them. But userbase advantage can't do it alone. There are over a thousand PS2 games that disappeared from sales charts before reaching what Trusty Bell did on X360.

Ye, me too, i dont think it will change too much about which games the PS3 will get :) I agree that the publishers will probably take note on how much FFXIII is selling, but if it wont change much or anything about which games that will come out for the PS3, what will the publishers take note(s) of, except to see how many copies of FFXII that are being sold?
To see whether or not their expectations were correct? If it performs much better or much worse than expected then maybe it will affect their support, but I don't think that will happen.

Fixed.

Does Kirby's recent herculean performances in the charts come from an actual regain of popularity of the character or more from the DS strength ? I am asking this question 'cause I want to know if Kirby's Wii adventure title could be a hit and hence, come to the West. Looked awesome on scrrenshots.
Certainly being on the DS can't hurt, but Kirby's long been a pretty popular dude. He didn't have GBA or N64 titles hit a million, but on both platforms there was a title that passed 800K. GCN Kirby Air Ride's 400+K made it the #14 game on the platform (just ahead of where third party titles start to appear).

When's the last time a Kirby game didn't come to the west, anyway?
