Wow... concerning the continued legs for Wii games. Just a month ago people were laughing at Mario and Sonic at the Olympic's first day reported sales of ~15,000. Now look where it's headed.

Mario Party 8 is a beast. This has to be the most popular Mario Party game in quite some time. Nintendo really struck gold with both 8 and DS this year.

Wii Fit hits one million! DQIV, FFIV, and Professor Layton 2 continue to sell greatly.

Mario Kart DS *bows* I think Nintendo should take their time with Mario Kart Wii. There's really no rush with Super Smash Bros. Brawl coming out in around a month or so.

Pretty nice legs for these RPGs, Galaxy's shooting ahead, and yet another week of Nintendo showing off to Sony & MS.

Nintendo's core games have some pretty incredible staying power too, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart have both made insane amounts of profit at this point.

It makes sense for PS3 games to be more frontloaded because it has a more hardcore audience.

I'm not going to bother finding Rune Factory 1's first week sales, but I can't imagine ~60k was all that far below them (if at all) -- those sales are quite solid. Btw, how insane is it that Big Brain Academy Wii Degree is at 15? Amazing and unexpected.

I don't see how Japan will survive the arrival of that game. I expect it to sell something like 3 million in 2008 and other 3 by the time the Wii succesor is announced.
