It's ok. I never played any of the previous games. It's just a board game with mini games in between dice rolls. I would say that the mini games are pretty fun. I rented it for my two nieces (ages 7 and 16); they had a blast.

It is a pretty good showcase for what the wiimote can do, but not really worth it if you're a solo gamer or over the age of 12.
