Well then, terrible for Tales as expected. I also thought Collar x Malice might've done a bit more given it seems to be getting a really good reception.

Hardware back to being a disaster zone too. Meh.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Its been a while...but man those Splatoon lifetime sales so far are still crazy...on the frigging WiiU. Makes me wonder how much would have been possible on a popular system with +10m userbase.

Def. hope they have another Splatoon type new IP in store for NX.

I like the way you think! ;)

But yeah, the Wii U version is doing so well for how late it came out. Even more shocking is the Vita version's dropped this week and so far has yet to outsell the Wii U version on a weekly basis.

Well, Tales might have better legs this time since the overall reception of Berseria seems to be positive and people say that it's the best one since Vesperia. Those sales are just what I expected after Zestiria.

Zestiria ruined everything. Even though Berseria is good. Much much better game, more contents, ingame costumes, mini games, etc... But after Zestiria, people are afraid to buy Tales game at launch again. Hopefully the game will have better legs because of good reviews and word of mouth

I am in this exact same boat. I bought Zesteria at launch and I really enjoyed playing it over Easter break, when it was already heavily discounted. I learned my lesson.

Good to see it sell well its first week though; I'll keep my eye on it.

Now to see the sellthrough for Berseria (probably somewhere between 85-90%) and if it can clear 300k LTD thanks to the game's quality

Project Diva X PS4

KOFXIV is one of the ugliest professional video games I've ever seen. Biggest drop in visuals between sequels too (discounting games released on more limited hardware). I wonder if Japan and the rest of the world will feel the same way, or do they prefer polygons?

I've said this before but if we consider the fact that TOB is a prequel to the much criticized TOZ, 250K isn't a bad first week number IMO as a drop was expected. Also, it does seem to have a good WOM so hopefully we'll see slightly better legs.

I bought Zesteria at launch to get Symphonia. Learned my lesson as well. I will wait to see how the PC port is before buying and probably not for more then $30.

So much for Tales pushing consoles. Hopefully Persona will do better, because that's supposed to be one of the biggest hardware movers this year for PS4.

PS4 is low on stock right now, sold out in some places. Not that it would change much but still. Rumored release for Slim is September 14th a day before P5 with a price drop most likely. So if it happens that week should be big for PS4 in Japan.
