The point I was trying to make by saying Switch is more like another PS4 is that these kinds of games have actually found an audience in North America and Europe on Switch, whereas with the 3DS the lion's share of third party software sales came from Japan.
The 3DS got the lionshare of it's performation from relative AAA releases or higher end mid-tier on the platform it was extremely skewered. Which shocking news haven't released on the Switch. The closest would be MH XX which is an up-port of a of a 3 month old game with it's sequel announced for another platform and it's future on the hardware a big question mark. That's it.
Did you never find it odd that the 3DS barely ever recieved niche to low tier support on the platform? Litterally all of the 3rd party support on the switch so far are games the 3DS was not known for.
It's a statement to just how slow/poor the intial support it's getting actuall is rather than it's 3rd party selling potential.
