Killzone: Mercenary opening with twice as much as The Wonderful 101, guess that's not bad for a FPS on Vita in Japan?

Poor numbers for everything but 3DS.

Anyone got the numbers for Killzone on PS3 in Japan? Honestly, as a FPS and with such a lower userbase, i don't find it that bad and AFAIK they shipped about 30k units.

Awful numbers for Puppeteer, KZ:M, Vita, and WiiU. I heard they confirmed that Godzilla has been finalized for the upcoming 2014 movie. Cast as Godzilla?

3DS, because it's a freaking monster.

Those are some pretty terrible drops for JoJo and FFXIV... JoJo was apparently the victim of terrible word of mouth, but what happened to FFXIV? Shortages or was it also not very well received in Japan?

Also, I'm not sure if I even want to know how much hardware Nintendo will be able to move in Japan between Monster Hunter and Pokemon... New mainline entries of two of the biggest Japanese franchises in the span of a single month, it's really kinda scary.

With those 3DS sales, MH4's release is sure to bring the shock and awe next week.

They probably stopped shipping new copies just like how they stopped digital sales before the big patch/maintenance because no one could login to play. :p

You certainly don't want to see a 93% drop in your sales from week to week, but if there wasn't a second shipment of FFXIV, wasn't that over half of the remaining stock (judging by the sale through percent of 89% from last week)?

So there is a Killzone 2 to Killzone 3 drop and if we go by this, there should be a drop in sales expected for Mercenary. Still terrible numbers but at least they make sense.

Looking at these sales I'm really really hoping Ps4 catches on. Or that's it for me and Japanese gaming. Here's hoping for at least a DQ on the Wii U.
