Media Create Sales: Week 40, 2012 (Oct 01 - Oct 07)

I don't think that's accurate.

There are tiers. Some are single-player, some are two-player, some are more. Wii Sports was best with > 1 person, and it didn't hurt it apparently.

* Miis
* NintendoLand
* Major pushed game at launch, similar to the Wii Sports positioning. (Don't see it being as easily understandable or as popular as Wii Sports, but it could sell 2m and still not be as popular as Wii Sports.)

Only in the DX version (just in the U.S.?) that is going to be near impossible to find before Christmas without preorders. Also, Wii Sports was never packed in with Wii in Japan, either.

That's great. Nintendo's going for both groups, especially in Japan with MH3GHD, so it's fine if some of the Wii upgraders want similar games to Wii Sports and some of the non-Wii owners just get it for the core offerings. Probably going to be some interesting overlap between the groups, too, which tends to be a feature of the best-selling consoles historically.
Yep.
Well this is Nintendo's own doing. They haven't advertised it one bit.
They haven't even yet featured all the attractions. We still don't know nothing about Captain Falcon's Twister Race, Yoshi's Fruit Cart and Octopus Dance. And I'm betting Nintendo has some stuff not yet revealed regarding the attractions already demoed. I mean, it's not unbelievable to think you could play alone Mario Chase for example, purchased by the AI.

Oh yeah, there seems to be some hype today. Less than 2 hours to go.

I'm also curious about Bravely Default, some people expected it to bomb (before last week) but it was interesting to see what happened after that launch day.
One more success story for the 3DS?

Again, what were the numbers for XIII-2?

Famitsu datas

[PSP] Final Fantasy Type 0 (Square Enix) - 503.388 / 696.428 / 72,28% 27/10/11
[PS3] Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Square Enix) - 605.660 / 840.670 / 72,04% 15/12/11

Final Fantasy 4 Warriors of light debut?
I think that having dropped the FF brand, a similar/higher debut would be awesome for Bravely

Famitsu, as always

[NDS] Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light (Square Enix) - 119.634 / 200.364 / 59,71% 29/10/09

Yeah this is correct. Type 0 had more on the first day but XIII-2 got ahead by the end of the week.

BD has been in the top 3 and gotten great reviews on Amazon since its release, so hopefully it will have great legs.

Pleeeeaaaseee do well!

I want Bravely Default: Flying Fairy to perform well, hopefully it will shatter my conservative prediction, though I'm also curious about Project X Zone.

Namco x Capcom sold 85,427 in its fist week, ltd 131,615.

As soon as I clicked on this topic, the song "Star Festival" from Super Mario Galaxy started.

BRAVELY DEFAULT/ PROJECT X ZONE I BELIEVE.

(I have the most terrible feeling that things won't go as well as we'd collectively like...)

Thats a huge difference between MC and Famitsu.

Square Enix shipped ~850k copies of XIII-2, first week, so it'll be ahead of Type-0 in any tracker eventually.

Thats a huge difference between MC and Famitsu.

XIII-2 can be explained by Famitsu numbers being from June, and Media Create, January.

Type-0, by Famitsu having bad taste. (According to Dengeki, Type-0 was at 749k in early January, if anyone cares...)

Actually both are used. こんざつ is even worse than こんでる which already means crowded. I appears in a different color (orange) in the ingame server list and basically tells you to avoid those servers.
Oh ok. I only remember seen three different status on the DQX website with the serverstatus, and i thought to remember that only こんざつ was used. But maybe i remember wrong or missed something :)
