Sumioni looks cool and is supposedly coming to North America. I'm glad it kinda sold.
You do realize that the #42 game this week is somewhere around 2500 right?

From the eShop:
Beyond the Labyrinth
Brave Company
Unchained Blades Rexx (also on PSP)
Denpa Ningen no RPG (download)
The only one that should have sold well is Denpa Ningen no RPG though and we don't know how much exactly. Also it's very cheap and looks like DQ.
But they also have a dedicated folder for download RPGs now which is full of VC GB and DSiWare RPGs. Didn't think there would be so many.

So you're glad it bombed? It seems to have been a low profile release, so its chart placement is alright IMO. My low expectations were met.

2000 yen cash back if you buy a 3g vita. Article says its a Sony campaign but it also says discount which is different from cash back rebate. Could this be the start of something positive?

Well don't forget they gave the first 500 3g Vita owners a free 100 hour data plan, so it's not like they haven't done deals for that SKU.

Ah, okay, should have checked that. Although SRPG would be close enough, they even list NES Zelda in the download RPG folder. -1, then.Brave Company is not a RPG. It's a simulation game which is meant to resemble the style of a RPG. It's also on iOS (f2p).
I thought he was asking for new ones, as in new series/IPs. The eShop lists 9 retail RPGs in total. I tried to seed out the new ones, but failed with Brave Company.3DS has also Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime 3D, even though it's not a proper jRPG, and Inazuma Eleven Go.
Hmm, let's see if this makes a difference in sales come next Wednesday.
I fear there's a problem with Love Plus.
It already has a 31% discount on Amazon. Lolnami hitting again?
Oh, boy. Maybe it's getting bad word of mouth because of the bugs? Or maybe it was just overshipped.
It is 28% off. But yeah, it isnt that much higher than the usual Amazon discount. I.e Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land are 23% off, and these games sell good and steady.Amazon has it 21% off like with every other game. Why are we bringing this up again.
Now, talking about something else.
Where's Phantasy Star Portable 3 / Victory / whatever they want to do? Sega has been pretty silent about it for a long time, and it's almost one year after the release of PSP2i, the expansion. I'm wondering what's up with that.

Well, LovePlus is the most expensive 3DS game to date, so the drop may help it.
I've already mentioned that while there are a lot of bugs, only a few occur for first time users (or people starting fresh) and a few of the transfer bugs are down to users and not the game (if you've altered the time or date even once while playing LovePlus/LovePlus+ on the DS, your games number of days will get corrupted).
There are reported to be freezes (I haven't experienced any), and one large bug (which I've fell victim too). Passing 5AM while using Skip Mode or Memory Mode (each mode causes the RTC to skew, and the RTC resets at 5AM) it can prevent the days schedule from resetting, and prevent the "Sleep" command from appearing. I hadn't set the schedule at the time, so after passing 5AM in Skip Mode (I'd woken up early) I decided to just carry on, but became able to use the sleep command.
It's fixable by saving (and exiting to the title) from Real-Time Mode, or passing 5AM while using said Real-Time Mode, which isn't a huge deal.
There's sure to be many put off by bugs, but I have to wonder how many people will go and buy it knowing what they are. I wouldn't be surprised to see people waiting for "New LovePlus+" though.
Anyway, I'm now looking forward to seeing how Harvest Moon does when it releases next week, what with Yuuri and the Witch being revealed as the last wife candidates. I'll be ordering it with Good People Die.
A little late, but does anyone want to guess for those games? (yes, no, guess already or suggest a better choice of games)
Did anyone get Theatrhythm? Any impressions?
P.S. Caved in, cancelled Vita, ordered Zelda 3DS. I'm terrible. :-(

I don't understand how such things are possible when a game not only has been in development for a while, but it has been even delayed probably to solve these problems. Konami really seem to not know how to work properly this days. I've seen some frame rate problems even in the LKS reimagining for Vita, but that was an old video, they should've improved it. I...hope.
About Harvest Moon, Sinobi reported good preorders when they talked about the rocket start for Rune Factory.
And I don't understand even how Square lowballed so much Theatrhythm demand. 8400 Yen now on Amazon. What the hell :lol
It could sell close to the otaku game or it could sell really badly. Hard to know since it's not appearing on COMGNET.Asura's Wrath PS3 should be interesting too.
Damn. One less customer on the Vita boat.CastorKing said:P.S. Caved in, cancelled Vita, ordered Zelda 3DS. I'm terrible. :-(
Then the 3DS hasn't dropped from past week ? Interesting indeed.
Since the data is Media Create, and since the week before this LTD was at 4.931.955, 3DS did at least over 68k, probably 70k this week.
If we all go 3DS-only, Nintendo will go monopoly on us. That is bad news if you ask me.
Yeah, we'll have to relive the pre-DS days. How horrible!
Seriously, Nintendo controlling almost all of the handheld industry wouldn't be good news, but it certainly wouldn't be bad news.

be quiet slime
I always wanted a WonderSwan and a NGP but the first was never released in Canada, and I could never find the latter.
LovePlus and Theatrhythm.
