Since more than a year ago if you search "Mega Drive" on Facebook (in Brazil at least), they show an anti-pedophilia alert. Nobody understand why at the time. And more recently one guy told that was banned on Tinder when wrote "Mega Drive" in a message talking about videogames.

So seems that the origin is from a drive from megaupload, fill with this children stuff, that became known as "mega drive" by people who search this criminal content.
Maybe because most social networks are from US, banning the term "mega drive" was not a big deal. Sega has a big problem in hands.

Mega Drive long existed before Megaupload. So the real problem is with the Brazillian government.
