And since this is a Meta GAF thread, I'd like to say a few things about the reaction system.

First off, there's no such thing as a "cheap" like. GAF members are notoriously hard to please and you can end up being given the cold shoulder if your posts are not funny/interesting/thoughtful/creative enough.

Second, contrary to popular belief, my shitposting doesn't come from a cynical heart. I genuinely love making people laugh and have a good time both IRL and on GAF. The difference between me and Papa is this particular fact. There's a reason why he got that tag if you've followed him enough for the past months or so. Does that make him a bad member? Absolutely not. That just makes him like the rest of us: unique human beings behind a unique GAF persona.

This forum has a near perfect level of activity for me. I frequent another forum which has much smaller membership, and it's just too slow sometimes. But the other end of the spectrum is something like Era where you are just drowned out in a sea of NPCs, it's far too active and large for me, I've posted there before and my stuff was just ignored and immediately buried across several threads. Gaf is in a sweet spot currently I think, I hope we grow larger still, but I hope we don't Era big honestly.

I just want GAF to be big enough for it to sustain for many years to come! This year alone, we have mafe some amazing progress in terms of activity, members developing their own personas/personalities more and more, becoming a close-knit community that knows each other fairly well, and a healthy amount of threads each day for discussions and and tomfoolery.

I kinda sort of did. I joked about it in a few posts on GAF, but I mentioned my issue with it in the Discord.

It wasn't so much the tag but the circumstances surrounding it. Scopa and I once joked about him getting a tag before me and I just ran with the joke. So it was nothing more than an inside joke but I think some people got the impression that I was legitimately thirsty for a tag, and since I hate being misjudged or mischaracterized, that was what annoyed me, but even then I was only half serious in the Discord. The fact that I mentioned nuking my account should have been a dead give away.
