Exactly.
I agree with Batzi on the "MGS will always feel like it belongs to Sony" topic. It was an exclusive up to MGS4 except for non-canon titles like Ghost Babel. Microsoft seemed to have worked hard to get this franchise on their consoles, beginning with the MGS: Rising announcement during their event.
Like him I'm ok with MGS being played on other consoles but it will sure be a Playstation exclusive in my memory and.in my heart

Thank you for your support!! :*Yup me too I don't mind mgs on other consoles.. But it seems like a sin if I don't play it on Sony consoles. Hell, I got the PW LE psp just to play the game.
I guess I can wait a few months I've been waiting 9 years for FFXV.. Patience level : Sage

I see two bottles.
Two = 02
Bottles look like an 11 to me.
We know it's not coming in February so 02/11/2015? That is November the 2nd 2015. Falls on a Monday.
Or release date announcement coming February 11th?
Dawg love the avatar bruh
All I will say is that traditions are like sports records -- they're meant to be broken. If past games in the series get a PC release (proper, not like the ports we got in the past), then that perception probably changes a bit. I think the thing that got lost in this whole "PS4 vs. the world" talk is that many people here are double-dipping the PS4 and PC versions. I completely disagree with the notion that players who don't play PlayStation should be kept from the game. Why would any Metal Gear fan want that? Batzi made a freaking thread about being a proud Son of Hideo a few days ago -- why spend so much time trying to convince others that they should play Metal Gear and then discourage them from playing it on anything but a PlayStation? Makes no sense. Also, modding does not mean you're altering anyone's vision -- it means you are simply getting someone else's. Why would anyone NOT want mods? If they don't want to use them, fine. But to imply that they shouldn't be a part of the game? "I had fun once and it was awful."
Does everyone remember this?
In hindsight of Ground Zeroes and GTAV, I hope Kojima realises he should be proud of MGSV instead. While GTAV is a competent game, it's a pretty superficial with no depth to its systems or its story. GZ may only offer 2 hours of content, but the amount of time I've gotten out of it completely dwarfs Rockstar's effort.

All you need to know about MGSV: The Phantom Pain development. Quiet controversy, Joakim Mogren, Project Ogre, new snake, trailers... What happened and when during the development of Phantom Pain? This is a documentary about MGS V.
Cool. Kefka usually puts out good stuff. His movie versions of the games are really good.
Aw man, i finished it all and thought something cool would come out :/
It was the first thing that came to my mind as I thought of something I could post here.
Edit: Try this one
Every day without a release date makes it harder and harder to keep myself from watching th e3 2014 trailer... it's the only trailer that I've been able to blackout from myself
I sometimes will view single screenshots of the trailer but never large segments... the skullface with zeke was a huge spoiler

And if that helps we all watched the trailer countless of times and still don't know shit about the story

Wish I could learn the gameplay structure of TPP, it sounds very different to a traditional MGS game.
Kojima has talked about the missions being like chapters in a TV show, so you can watch them in any order and work out the story. But who watches a narrative based TV show episodes in random order?
It's going to be PW style.

Yong Yea (via Facebook):
The commentary for the MGO3 trailer analysis by itself is a little over 55 minutes long, so the full video should clock at around an hour. This is definitely going to be my longest analysis yet.
It really doesn't sound like it. I know a lot is brought across from PW, but not the talk of a non-linear narrative.
It's like any other open world game I imagine. You choose what side activities you wish to do in any other and new story details open up to you when/if you decide to do them.
So I'm grinding in Peace Walker. I'm just before the Cacoon fight story wise, and I'm trying to get more vehicles for outer ops so I can deploy troops in between side ops. Any tips? I'm getting really tired of fultoning useless troops in lieu of killing them. Should I throw caution to the wind and say fuck my heroic level? I beat this game way back in 2010, and did a story run on my psp in 2013 using a save file from GameFAQs. I'm kinda rusty.
