I saw that article about autographed posters (http://kotaku.com/konami-giving-away-mysteriously-autographed-metal-gear-1726601547) and it made me think how sad it is this year we're not even getting a launch World Tour with Kojima and Shinkawa. Every launch there's always a world tour for signings. I got to see Kojima 4 times here in NYC, mostly at the Uniqlo in SoHo (for MGS4, PW, Rising, and GZ). The atmosphere would always be amazing. Metal Gear decorations everywhere, cosplay, and when you bought a shirt while waiting at Uniqlo the machine would ring you up with the "!" sound. It was great and then there would be the fan discussions about our theories of what will happen in the new game that we'd talk about during waiting from night to dawn.
I remember when Kojima's car pulled up the first two times I went there was always a loud Kojima chant. ahhh good times. I'd bring friends and family and we'd all get stuff signed together too. It really sucks that there's no celebration for the last in the "Kojima" series. As of now looks like Geoff Keighley and Colin will have the only signed copies of MGSV.
