Yes. But running the PS1 version through a high quality emulator yields a better experience. Especially if you want to scale up to your monitor's native resolution.

There is, but I'm fairly certain it's only available physically and I don't know how it'd run on a modern system. ePSXe's a great emulator and you can even use your PS1 disc with it, for legitimacy's sake. Though I'm pretty sure ripping it or getting an ISO elsewhere is more reliable. Also, what Zambatoh said.

So my roommate never played GZ before wanted to play tonight since he knew TPP was coming out on Tuesday (because I brought it up so many times). Watching him play blindly was hilarious yet irritating since I knew exactly what to do and which path was optimal.

He finished in an hour and 8 minutes with 3 alerts, 15 kills and 5 retries with a C rank. Then I took over and did the Rescue the Renegade Ops and was challenged to get it done in 10 minutes so we can watch a movie, got it done in 9 minutes and 48 seconds. AW YEAH.

Feels good man. Today was a good day.

As Russian I totally agree. Even the first look at Soviet troops in 2013 E3 trailer gave me a shock that Kojima went full-on yet again. With everything like clothes, striped shirts (telnyashka) and blue berets of VDV (airborn troops) and so on.

The attention to detail is stunning and the soundtrack is better than vice city. Which is crazy to think because it was a Rockstar game and embodied the 80s.

Basically the game has broken street date in many if not all countries sold to right now. Leaks everywhere, including the ending to the game. PS3/360 versions uploaded online for softmodded systems.

People on GAF getting copies. OT4 is still safe from spoilers, can't say the same for any other MGSV thread.

well when the official konami twitter stepped in, i saw that as good as a proper press release.

the information hasn't changed for at least a day with less than 48 hours before the supposed unlock time, so i'd be very surprised if it changes again.

US version unlocks 12am ET, Other PSN should unlock on 12am in their timezones so 12am BST for UK, 12am CEST for Germany, Switzerland, Austria etc.
