Games that matter are the Kojima games. Peace Walker is a special case because it's the only non-numbered game that matters, and that's only because Konami refused to market Metal Gear Solid 5 as a PSP title as originally intended.

All Kojima-made games matter as far as Canon is considered. So no Acid but Peace Walker does. But that don't mean that you shouldn't play the side games. Play all of 'em if you can.

Hey dudes. I just finished MGS1 and I'm planning on playing the whole series so I have a question... Is this like Kingdom Hearts where every game matters? Even if it's a side game? So I should play, say MG Acid and Peace Walker?

Play MGS1 > MGS2 > MGS3 > MGS4 > MGSPW > MGSGZ.

You can ignore the rest (when it comes to story).

Anyone here using a ds4 on their PC? I've been playing Splatoon, so I'm addicted to motion assisted aiming now, and I've been fiddling with them on Ground Zeros to prepare for TPP. Head anyone else tried motion aiming with the ds4? Not much when I googled around.

So I'm back home from going up north for the weekend to drink and dance in the woods with my friends. Listen to what happened to me Friday night:

Get an email on my phone about my credit card getting a fraudulent charge for $140 for what appeared to be some fitness magazine subscription.

Called the CC company, they declined the charge, canceled the card, sent me a new one, no issue. Then I realized that's the credit card I preordered my CE on Amazon with.

So I go on Amazon and switch the payment method from my CC to my debit card in order to avoid a situation where they can't charge me and the shipment gets delayed. I change it, then I go to my orders page and it now lists estimated delivery date as "September 3rd" -_-

Next day I called Amazon and they somehow changed it back to September 1st, but man I was mad and scarred. Their policy apparently is if you change anything about the original order they reserve the right to change the delivery date. Pretty lame policy but I got it taken care of.

That's why I didn't change mine to ship to my apartment, glad you got it taken care of but I'm too paranoid it'll come like a week late or something.

Luckily my roommate (who I've convinced to play the MGS series and is now on MGS3) ordered his own copy but said I could play it when it gets here since he won't be done with them all yet.
