It's ashame that I don't seem to have the POW's I reduced in Ground Zeros in my Mother Base :/

Are the EU Ps4 servers down or something?

so confused the amount of people buying this game as their first MGS.

like what? Personally playing this one first will kill you when you play the others, as shifting back from the new controls and dynamics would just be super jarring and would probably ruin the game....

It's actually really weird. I'm playing all of Guns of the Patriots, Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain at the same time.

Also, I am reminded that my absolute favorite franchise have always been Metal Gear, even though I decided to be out of the loop at tbe release of Peace Walker.

So it's my birthday today

After A Hero's Way, Kaz said to head back to motherbase and it's urgent. Got back and heard gunshots, which turned to fireworks sounds.
Then Miller, Ocelot, and the gang all sang happy birthday to me! There was also cake! Big Boss even smiled!!!!

Best birthday ever.

Wow the servers seem really bad. I can't connect anymore. But even when I could they were so slow that it was almost unplayable. Turns out slow servers stop you from developing new weapons and items

I started with MGS4 and worked my way backwards. It doesn't matter how people get into MGS as long as they DO get into it.

I'm still confused over the requirements and rewards from the GZ transfer.... it's giving me a headache.

Also: my PS4 is FINALLY waiting for me at home. Two hours to go!

Answer (its one of the first side ops, nothing special just an extraction)

It's just a sheep but it's not as little as the side op title makes you imagine. You can try the mission during night ans just walk around the camp with NVG on.
I found it sitting near a house but i can't say for sure which one, sorry.

Load on last time GZ and select again "upload save data" just to be sure that you have done that.
Then in TPP in the main menu there will be an option "download gz save data". After doing that all you have to do, is play the game and the rescued people will come as recruits after some missions.

P.S: i don't know if the option to download gz save data will be there the very first time you start the game. If it's not, play the prologue and one more mission and then exit to main menu.

Thank you but I meant what you have to do in GZ to get rewards in TPP and what those rewards actually are. :)

Is it worth carrying the save file from Ground Zeroes to Phantom Pain? Would do it if the recruits are worth it, but really just wanna start TPP as soon as I get home.

visit D Dog at Mother Base while he's still a puppy? Ocelot mentioned that he was lonely and I should go see him, but I can't find him for the life of me.

The "spoiler" is early game, I'm only about 2 hours in.

He's usually there waiting for you whenever you fly back to Mother Base. Like 8 times out of 10 he was there for me.

Everyone's busy playing I see 😏 Anyone know if the XBone version of the app is working yet? The iTunes link says that it's "not compatible with Xbox One yet". I'm wrapping up the hospital so I haven't had the chance to test it yet.

I'm honestly not as impressed with the prologue. It was long, and kind of dragged towards the middle, but it was fine, but no "no oh my god" moment, as I literally expected everything in the intro to be part of the intro.
