The demonic horse, the whale, the Volgan looking guy, are all illusions created by Psycho Mantis combined with his Pyro-Kanesis.

I know everyone is playing theory right now but let's not go crazy. The whole Ishmael is in his head thing is pretty clearly not true BTW. Not only does Ishmael inject Big Boss, in the original PP trailer you see him drag Big Boss underneath tables to hide, push him down to hide him from enemy search lights.

And people point to "Well Big Boss is in the driver's seat" as evidence. It's a freakin video game. Why would YOU the character you are playing as, being driving a car during an action scene? There is no turret position like in other car scenes in metal gear. Assuming this is proof of Ishmael being imaginary is sill.y

Ishmael could just be his subconscious telling him to do things. Like muscle reactions, saying "wake the fuck up" or "move your ass" and Snake is battling the effects of waking up from a 9 year coma so his military brain kicks in and helps him survive. It is crazy but a few things don't sit right

-He has no face, and none of the main characters do up until Ocelot in that sequence. Demonic Volgin, Psycho Mantis, Jack Baur/Ishmael. They're all deliberately hidden.
-Ishmael never helps him move faster, he rolls him over a few times and injects him or whatever but when he says they have to move and get out fast, he just waits for snake to crawl around and never supports him
- finally he disappears after the Ambulance crash. he's suddenly gone and not on the horse with Ocelot and Snake. He's obviously an important character cos he has Kiefer Sutherland voicing him and he has been watching snake for 9 years, so he's not dead that fast

"Without touching people's emotion we can not survive, we can not keep surprising people in the next generation."

KP L.A. is handling the most part of mgo development so that could confirm MGO3 for next gen.

MGO3 without the Konami ID (provided they keep it functioning like MGO2 just smoother) will be amazing. MGO2 was one of the deepest online games on consoles and certainly the deepest TPS. It never got old for me. Well it did after 400 hours, but I still came back for a 6 hour stint on the final day.

You're seeing stuff that isn't there. There are a million reasons to hide the characters face. It's most likely a character we already know and not revealing that is important. The way he makes him move is clearly not natural of someone who is weak and just recovering from a coma.

The Frank Jager theory is far more solid and make more sense. The only reason YOU or anyone thinks this guys is an illusion is because you are influenced by the paranormal like things happening in the trailer. So you make a jump to assume this guy is also part of an illusion. He's not.

What's everyone proof? He doesn't help him walk? That's far from proof or anything to base a theory of he's not real. It's such a silly logic jump. There is far more evidence to support that it's NOT a character in his head.

Like I said The Gray Fox theory is the most sound theory. It make senses given, the location, the bandages, his relation to Big Boss, and his already proficient soldier skills.

Yes, but the theory you are agreeing with puts both volga fire and Ishmail down as PM creations. This cannot be as Ishmail suggests the elevator then PM uses VF to scare them away from using it. Would make no sense if that was the case. Ishmail and VF has to be from separate consciousnesses

- in Ground Zeroes part of MGS5, Big Boss is seen looking to recue Chico and others from Mother Base as it's being attacked
- he is sent into a coma
- Les Enfants Terribles occured "when Big Boss slipped into a coma"
- This would have to be 1971 or earlier as Les Enfants Terribles was finished and gave birth to the clones in 1972
- Peace Walker took place in 1974
- Big Boss is apparently in a coma for 9 years

Something is going on here. Peace Walker obviously can't be VR/a dream because Chico and Mother Base and shit are still in the MGS5 trailer.
