the two phantoms are his two right hands CONFIRMED

I'd rather it be a standalone altogether, but I'm not quite sure KP learned its lesson from MGO2. I do remember Kojima saying whatever successor comes will cater more to the West.

The part that can easily be retconed is that Big Boss saved him around that time from something. In this case, Frank is in the same hospital after having being tortured (he has been keep watch over BB over the years was but was still active in the military). Then he and Big Boss escape when the place comes under attack. He tells Big Boss to call him Ishmael because he doesn't want to tell him right away that he's Gray Fox. Big Boss tried to give him a normal life before, BB might be a bit shocked if he was told that.
Also guys, remember Grey Fox changes his name to Frank Hunter at some point. Hunter = Ishmael.
Bandages = ninja mask.
Everytime someone says Grey Fox i want to kick a kitten.
I never ever said Laura, i want to throw a new born out of the window everytime someone says "Laura"i'll promise to write it with an A if you promise not to pronounce lara croft as "laura croft". deal?
I've been saying this since the first phantom pain trailer was released, but now I do think they are the same person, or that Ishmael doesn't exist anyway.
That's Joakim's significance.
The bandaged guy (Ishmael/joakim) never existed, it's just snake's/kojima's alter ego.

Just that he voices Ishmael in MGS5. That doesn't proof anything but i still think Snake has a different VA.What did it say? A while ago I saw something about him voicing a dlc character in Street Fighter vs Tekken, I'm sure that can't be true!
I really just want MGO2 back, but with better moderation and no Konami ID.

I can't even tell who is saying the last line, or if Miller still has the same VA.
hey guys not sure how reliable this is, but an analyst (David Gibson) seems to be quoting Konami in saying the target for Ground Zeroes is FY 2014 (ending March 2014) and MGSV is FY 2015

I thought Ground Zeroes & MGSV were the same game?
Pretty sure they are, but there's still a lot of confusion going around about it. Konami or someone really needs to come out and clarify.
There were scenes from the earlier Ground Zeroes trailer in the most recent Phantom Pain trailer. If they're separate games, why would they do that?
Plus it plain wouldn't make any sense for them to be separate.
I thought Ground Zeroes & MGSV were the same game?
When asked if one would purchase Metal Gear Solid V and receive Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain as a single game (similar to Metal Gear Solid 2 having the Tanker and Plant Chapters), Kojima smirked and stated that he could not comment on how they would be sold and distributed. I noticed that he said “they”, essentially separating Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain as well as potentially separating their sales and distribution channels, though that is purely speculation on my part.

Why bring back such an unremarkable character? I don't even remember what his deal was in PW.

His clothes still seem awfully spiffy.I could imagine him being stuck at Outer Heaven when the fighting goes down, and he gets burned from some kind of explosion or something. It definitely does seem like it could be him.
Though, I'm at the very end of Peace Walker right now, so something might happen at the end that would make that theory totally wrong.

Distribution and charge is what worries me right now. I can live with treating the prologue essentially like DLC, but if something nuts like Ground Zeros being on PS3 and Phantom Pain being on PS4 happens (exclusively), somebody is getting killed.
They should clarify so doomsday people like me can shut up.
Are the sprinklers a hallucination too?
From Metal Gear Wiki said:Psycho Mantis was born in a small Russian village before the collapse of the Soviet Union. His mother died giving birth to him, which made his father resent and hate him. He discovered his powers and his father's true emotions one day while accidentally reading his mind. He wondered if his father would kill him, and the shock of this revelation awoke his subconscious. He used his telekinetic powers to burn down the village that he lived in, killing all residents. This release of psychic energy caused severe burns across his body, particularly his face.
Anybody who played through the awesomesauce that was Peace Walker's post-game content to get to the true ending never describe Zadornov as unremarkable, I think.
Snake, guess what? Zadornov escaped again! This time, he escaped DEATH.
quoted by wikipedia:
Ramon Galvez Mena
He is later unmasked as KGB intelligence operative Vladimir Zadornov when Coldman prepares the Peace Walker to attack from inside a US base in Nicaragua. The MSF, teaming up with the FSLN, captures him and locks him up at the Mother Base, but he breaks out on several occasions, forcing the player to recapture him. He is eventually killed by Big Boss in self-defense.
The theory is that he actually doesn't die. He survives but is badly burned.
don't know what that comparison is trying to make, the clothes are totally different, it's a typical suit and coat design, different color, different material, Galves coat have raised collar, burning man, not. burning man coat also have more padding that make the shoulder area rise a bit more, make it look more classy than galvez'. button placement, inner white shirt and tie is not enough to assume they're the same person.
Am I the only one that wants this to happen? would be a good way of showing off the FOX engine before prepping you for it on PS4!Distribution and charge is what worries me right now. I can live with treating the prologue essentially like DLC, but if something nuts like Ground Zeros being on PS3 and Phantom Pain being on PS4 happens (exclusively), somebody is getting killed.

Great find! It looks much more like shrapnel here than an actual horn.Remember this picture? You can see the horn on BB's forehead. I never noticed it until I went back and looked today. It is the same debris that is in his forehead at the end of the trailer.![]()
And that part is strategically missing from this image.![]()
Does every coat looks the same to you? They're totally different design, instead of focusing too much on button plscement similarities look at the collar, shoulder, and arm sleeves. Galvezcoat have raised collar , in the shoulded and arm sleeves you can see some kind of belt buttons. Things that are not in the burned man's clothing.Huh? Looks the exact same to me....notsureifserious...
