There has been a couple. But they are just regurgitating Overview Trailer info and the information from the JP site.
Some even lambasted when they couldn't answer questions about the game...proving they hadn't actually played it and were deflecting big time. Amateur hour indeed.
I don't think we will see any "real" reviews until after Monday.

I'm fully aware of that, even mentioned it earlier in the thread. However, the only Metroid game that went with Giger's style before was Super Metroid.

I've watched my friends play a demo of the game at the Milan Games Week yesterday. I didn't watch all of it to avoid too many spoilers, though.
The game (Switch 2 version) looked good enough. No sophisticated modern lighting, but it's clean and very smooth. The demo was just the tutorial phase up to the first boss, like the frigate level from the first MP. Just a series of easy battles and basic tutorials. The boss was a little more complex than the usual, with attacks needing the player to use the dash and the morph ball to avoid attacks that hit on different heights.
My friends weren't completely sold on the mouse controls. The left-right motion was smooth enough, but I could see them not having the easiest of times aiming precisely at their targets. I didn't try it so I can't comment on that. But I enjoyed the free aim so much in MP Remastered, that I think I'll just use that control scheme instead of mouse controls anyway.
I've seen very little, but the game looked solid from that little. Nothing was shown about the bike and desert sections, though.
I'm a bit more optimistic now. It's just so strange Nintendo has given this game so little light compared to Kirby Air Riders.

Gyro aiming controls will likely be the best for freeform aiming. Ever since Corruption it's been the best way to play IMO.

My parents asked me for birthday gift ideas and I said this, sent dad a link to the physical of the Switch 2 version and said to preorder it because you get 10% off if you preorder... but obviously also so I can receive it on Tuesday morning instead of my birthday days later
Mum just phoned to say shes having it sent to her house so they can bring it up to me on my birthday and give it to me in person. So now its been leaked early AND I'll be getting it nearly a week after the launch, fml
Please all of you pray for me not being spoiled on anything big, I'll be itt being jealous as hell until my birthday.
I must've sounded like Bart opening Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge on christmas day when she phoned earlier lol, I couldn't be an ungrateful cunt asking her to change the delivery since of course I appreciate them buying it and wanting to be able to see me open it in person.

Dad told me he's been told to go to the hospital about his eyes and they've put him on a 14 month long waiting list, he said "I could be dead by then!"

Suffice to say it all looked to very cool, but don't go and watch it because it spoils upgrades.

When is it officially releasing? I won't be home December 2-5, but I will have my Switch 2 with me. I already got it installed. Just waiting for it to unlock.
20% off Nintendo eshop cards at Costco and maybe still at Sam's Club in the US. Can now be used on hardware and everything afaik. Didn't know that until the past couple days. Also can have up to $800 in your Nintendo account now. Maybe I'm just not as much in the loop any more and this isn't news to the faithful here.
But to get back on topic one can buy MP4 for Switch 2 pre-order physical copy with this eshop credit too. Option is slightly hidden but it's there next to digital copy iirc. I can't say Nintendo will deliver it on release day. But you can get it for $60 including tax and before any credit card rewards. I know I did at least.

They should give us a Sylux DLC where all we can see through is a thin vertical strip on the screen. No lock on neither.

Would rather an unlockable mode where we play as Sylux.
Also Sylux like the other Hunters in MPH all have a unique HUD interface.
