Hard to believe this ever came out, and it came out really good. Feel like Ive been hearing about this for 15 years. Day 1 for me.

Didn't expect anything less from the man. I wish there was a Switch version but I guess I'll charge the Steam Deck for that one.

Also I hope Mudeth makes another alt soundtrack but that's a big stretch.

Interesting, looks like a mix of Binding of Isaac humor and art but everything feline and adult and Into the Breach/FF Tactics combat with deep class system and a massive amount of enemies, bosses and paths. Add in roguelite and this becomes a long and classic game that players will keep playing for years to come.

Gameplay loop is basically:
  1. go to adventure (sewers, canals, neighborhood themed levels, etc) with a team of 4 cats (they have classes, skills, etc), random stats (negative and positive),
  2. engage in tactical, turn-based, Into the Breach style combat,
  3. win a run (1-2 hours) or loose ( you still get some rewards, it's rogue-lite! in progression but rogue like* in acts/campaigns (I have to verify this yet))
  4. back in your small room and retire those cats,
  5. breed them to get kittens which might inherit classes, bonus and traits from parents, negative ones also
  6. go again, win
  7. get rewards, items and upgrade room, skills, progress story by sending/donating kittens to homes?
  8. fight a huge variety of enemies (rivals cats, mice, aliens, monsters, dinos, etc), fight bosses (each with unique mechanics), find cool strats, min-max and optimize
  9. repeat, populate your house, old cats die, kittens grow, all of the feline melodrama in signature Isaac humor
  10. till you win! (complete all the 3 acts) apparently it takes 120-150 hours but you see new shit, find new stuff to make runs feel fresh (still chance of bad RNG?, yep of course)
  11. $$$ profit?
* rogue-like: progress is zero after a run, might get some permanent rewards but you start from (N); rogue-lite: progress is not zero but a small increase, (N+1)
