It's too bad that MGS4 is probably a nightmare to port. Would be nice to see that at ridiculous IQ.
I really hate MGS4 and I would STILL buy it on PC

If Steam itself just acts as a store where you download it and installing it is completely separate, then yes. I highly doubt that though.
It can. There are many games that you can buy on Steam and even delete steam entirely and have it still work. DRM is optional on Steam.
At this rate some of that is in the possible camp. Now I just need Destiny, all the Warriors games, Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 on PC and I can delay getting a PS4 until the very end of the generation
Thats about 2 to 3 years out. And 4k will be like 1080p 60FPS was later this gen when PC SMACKED most console around in their version plus not that much more in pricing considering the lead GPU tech has this time around.Right now this doesn't change much for me. I will still probably pick it up on PS4 first. And besides resolution I don't think PC version will look any different (at least out of the box), but replaying it a few years down the road in 4K will be pretty awesome.
Too late I already have Firefall.

I swear to god Kojima the resolution better not be locked to 1080p and lower.
I'd love to see MGS4 whenever the inevitable Metal Gear Solid Collection for PS4 and Xbox One comes out. Huge MGS fan, but was a 360 owner all of last gen and never got to play 4.
It's not like there is even a way to really lock the resolution of a PC game.

there goes only reason to buy a ps4 now just gimme some rpgs on steam and i am set
Metal Gear Rising is locked to 1080p. There's a workaround on the forums but every update it breaks and has to be updated again.
So yea.

Platinum actually did really well for a Japanese developer that had no prior PC porting experience, but yeah, the resolution/frame rate cap and weird ass 1080p fullscreen bug are things I'd like to see them avoid next time.Wow at this rate i can't wait for Metal Gear Rising 2 for PC !!!
Yea, that's what I meant.Somewhat incorrect. The max resolution is 1080p. You can go lower.
