The fact that mother base is literally a brand new, better looking Big Shell is so fucking awesome. It was like that in Peace Walker, but it didn't look nearly as detailed.

Here's a hint, some people have been following MGS since 1998, some people have been following it since the late 80's and early 90's. This new trailer is giving fans what they always wanted, perspective into Big Boss's life.

Something Kojima deserves credit for (when done correctly) is rewarding the fanbase with shit only the fanbase would care about.

So many knives! I laughed at how Ocelot is in charge of firearms training and that one guy was shooting from the hip. And did they retcon Miller even further? In MGS, he was said to have been an instructor for the SAS, Green Berets, and then Foxhound. But he loses his arm and leg in Phantom Pain; was it ever mentioned that he had prosthetics in the later timeline games?

Disappointed actually, I know Kojima said he wanted to shock people, but I think he went too far. I was disappointed by the lack of gameplay, and the overabundance of knife fights. I also really didn't like the music. For me at least last years trailer was incredible and miles better than this one. I have no problem with it if we are getting a different trailer tomorrow at Sony or Microsoft's press conference, but if this is all we get from MGS5 this E3 I'll be disappointed.

Also dumb question that Oil Rig thing in the trailer is that the Big Shell
