It's just either you believe tabloids or FBI.

Unfortunately, some people love gossip and would believe the tabloids more than the people who's job is to investigate.

How good is this dude? Evaded the FBI, paid off scores of people. 35 Million dollars!

And I'm torturing logic because I think its possible he was innocent, even with all the allegations and rumors.

"There was just not enough evidence. They were forced to let him go. He outsmarted them all, somehow."

He's like the Bond villain of child molestation.

(When there actually is a Bond villain of child molestation that they were going after. Nondescript looking college professor guy.)

... you know, just because someone printed it doesn't make it true.

These are tabloids making the allegations, and they're doing it about a dead guy. A dead guy whose finances were investigated by the FBI, you think they wouldn't notice payoffs to the families?

I don't believe this tabloid trash, but I also don't see how people are giving this creep a free pass. He was clearly fucked in his head.

I'm not disturbed at all by him sleeping with the kids. The guy thought he was a Jesus analogue.

I missed the part of the Bible where Jesus said, "Come unto me, young boys, and sleep in my bed."

I mean, I'm no Bible scholar, but you'd think that verse might have gotten more attention.

matthew 19:13
Then were there brought to him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come to me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And he laid his hands on them, and departed there.

Still missing the part where he sleeps with them in bed repeatedly. Although I can certainly believe he laid his hands on them.

I just find it hard to believe if a kid was molested they say this at the death of the man who did it "Of the events of the week Jackson died, said Feldman, "It was shocking, and I think I'm still in shock, to an extent. I don't think I have fully, completely come to terms with it yet. I have waves and flashes. One moment, I feel fine and I'm myself. Then all of a sudden, it hits me, and I go, 'Wow, he's really gone.' It's very troubling.".

He was always very strange and troubled and the way he would befriend those kids and then move on was probably harmful but not in a sexual way. There's a big difference between a shitty mentor and a molester.

Its not uncommon for people that were molested as chidren to block it from their memory. It takes some people years of theropy to even remember that they were molested

To pray. Lookit. No one's saying MJ wasn't strange. No one is saying he should have welcomed children into his bedrooms or to act so familiar with children not his own. But to a lot of people, that's enough to all but convict him because its "fucking weird". And then multiply it by the accusations and rumors that followed him throughout life that's it, pull the switch. Regardless of the availability of proof, obviously he got rid of it all.

I'm saying an adult male, sleeping on the floor, in a sleeping bag, in a bedroom of 6+ other kids on the bed and on the floor in sleeping bags, isn't a horrible image hinting at dastardly deeds. That's what he said took place, and what he admitted to occurring repeatedly in his past.

MJ one on one, sharing a bed with a child is totally different. I would definitely not allow it. It should not happen. But I wouldn't immediately leap to child molestation charges based on that alone. There was also an accusation of molestation, so people had to act on that. It doesn't prove guilt, but it fosters lasting suspicion.

I mean, just read the wiki on the case and you will just be shaking your head at how fucking weird and shady everything is. All of it. It's crazy. It's cray.

You do realise Jordan Chandler's statement admitting he lied is a hoax perpetrated by overzealous MJ fans, right? It never happened.
Yeah, that was my understanding of it - I don't remember that ever being said for real. If it was true it would be huge news!
I think it's really weird that he kept putting himself in dicey situations even after being accused multiple times. You'd think after the first time he'd have no kids over ever again.
He did himself no favours. Instead of coming out swinging and going "Hey, cut the shit, this is ridiculous, it didn't happen!" he did some talking-head videos to the world in a boy-like voice pleading for understanding while wearing dainty silk shirts and playing the victim.

I don't know what to believe, but the way it was handled was disastrous.

It is kind of sad, though, that people will just believe that countless supposed victims were paid off with millions in cash and not one declined the $$$ to go public.

What would have to come to light to convince people that this isn't "tabloid bullshit?" I don't know if I believe it, but it seems like people defend MJ for no reason.

I guess the source not being "secret FBI files" provided to a "tabloid" would help a lot.
