But I don't get why you're angry. Do you think they should let everyone assume the games are PS exclusives?

Bungie is publishing it. They've said they're self publishing as part of Sony. Any future game is likely to be self published too. They have a Netease partnership just like Activison did to license and release their IPs in China. Netease isn't the publisher of the game, Bungie is.

I like how Xbox just admitted that they aren't in the business to compete with Sony because they just can't. Sony had a huge head start and the "Playstation" brand is just too big worldwide for them to come in and take over. There's no need to compete. Xbox is just doing their thing and selling games/systems and as long as they're making profit, who cares? Now don't get me wrong, if something happens out of nowhere and Xbox starts taking back MarketShare, they'll be the first ones to shove it in everyones face lol.

It wasn't hidden info. That was absolutely everywhere when the deal was announced. Every article. Every podcast. Every YouTube show that discussed it.

I'm not angry, just stating facts. People are seeing what isn't there and projecting and, and I'm just analyzing why Xbox PR always needs to remind people they also exist. When your brand is strong you don't need this type of messaging, of using another brand's spotlight to remember people you also exist.

Corporations arent your friends you definitely dont want the two suppliers of your hobby getting all buddy buddy when their competitive friction is the only reason they might "try" once in awhile.

Thanks for posting it before I did. Plus there is countless twitter posts by Sony doing the same thing MS did today. This isn't new and has been ongoing for decades, as I stated before.

You and I both know if Phil Spencer made a 'dunking' tweet, it would not be received well by many users.

Anyway, I don't see the Xbox tweet as 'dunking' at all.

The bar isn't too high. 2-3 good third party announcements, Starfield, some gameplay from first-party games they already announced and it's gonna surpass today's showcase.

I legit thought Microsoft was trolling with that tweet. A big picture of a bunch of games in the Sony showcase with COMING TO XBOX right next to it.

My headcanon is that it's a subtle slight for lulz
 
Not going to lie, if MS wouldn't be in such a fucking dumbster right now, this would be pretty fucking funny.
 
Can't help but respect MS putting the coming to Xbox post up. That was cold and direct. And about the games. Hope they come in with lots of first party news.
 
Microsoft can knock it out if they show lots of first party gameplay (and of course the third party that haven't been shown) then follow-up with a strong Starfield showcase.
That RedFall launch probably still has some sting to it

For first party expectations, agreed, but some of those games shown people were salivating over about wanting to see.

Now we are going to play stupid. (Not you, just some now fronting like they didn't show some hotness people were wanting to see for years.)
