..which is currently in concept phase developed by eight people? Besides the Fable series as a franchise is big already for MS to abandon. It will also depend on the success or failure of Fable Legends.
After the Black Tusk abandoned new ip in favour of Gears, i don't trust them anymore...
 
Does the briefing have an age rating? I'd like to watch on my Xbox but it is the middle of the summer holidays so my kids are around. If there is likely to be any M content then I'd have to go hide in the home office

I'm getting terrible Xbox One Reveal flashbacks. It's 3 4 in the morning, I just finished doing something really urgent, I have something to do hours after the conference ends, and I'm really goddamn sleepy. But fuck you sleep! I love me my videogames and I will sacrifice sleep to watch even the most underwhelming on conferences.

God I hope this is good and worth waking up for.

Just assume M rated games will be showcased. Then again, what kind of M rated are you talking about? Halo-M-Rated? Or GTA5-M-Rated?
 
I'm not going to be wowed by QB until I see someone with a controller in their hands playing through a segment of the game. Much as it is very difficult to get excited by the video segment of Uncharted 4 that was shown.

If you can't make your game look amazing by showing canned video footage, then you are not doing your job properly.
 
I can't hold it. I need to see QB so I can rush to the store, buy a One...and wait.

After what I saw at E3 I'm buying a One anyway, but I don't know if I'll buy it when Destiny comes out so I play with my friends, or instead wait for the budle with SO
 
It's at 2 PM for where I am. I am at work, so no way to watch it live. As GAF is the only game-related website I can access from work, will there be a "live blog" thread?

I can only hope they will tease us with a new Fallout, even if I know it's not going to happen.
 
Probably a stupid question, but all sources claim that the conference is watchable on windows phone, but I couldn't find any mention of it on mine. I looked in the video app or on the marketplace (in case it was a dedicated app), and in both cases a search for "Xbox gamescom" didn't return any result.
So how am I supposed to watch it on my phone exactly ?

Looking forward to this, going to view it live on the X1.

I'm excited for some sweet QB gameplay and maybe a glimpse of Halo 5 but I'm not holding my breath for that one.

I think the app is called Live Event Player. MS should be the publisher of said app.

Thanks, I will look for that. They could have chosen a more explicit name, or advertise it better (although now that you mention it, it's called the same on Xbox)
*edit : found it ! (name in the store is "live video player" but the icon is "Live Events player", good job MS... :/)

I dont live in US, so i went to my regional settings on my WP8.1 and changed it to US, the phone restarted and then went to Store and searched "Live Events Player".

But if you want a more easy way and since the stream will be live on Twitch, just use an app called Live Gaming App and browse all twitch streams from there ;)
 
Got the tissues ready for Quantum Break.

But no seriously, QB has to deliver. Only game that has me excited in 2015 besides Halo 5 and Evolve.

I may do that in the end, since the live events app apparently has some issues (the user comments complain about it getting stuck on "buffering", and that is indeed what I'm getting right now for the replay of the COD conference).
Twitch it is, then, thanks for the suggestion.

that's it, this thread is so calm now that I'd rather the way it is than being "crowded". anyways, if MS drops any bomb I'm already expecting this thread to be flooded as any other XB1 thread
