Europe has been a market Sony always sells well in, while Microsoft tends to struggle outside the UK. They also had a lot of studios (MM, Bend, etc.) skip E3 altogether.

But it's about the games. I'm watching both conferences regardless.

Trust? It was an business decision - which every move in this industry is.

Black Tusk didn't abandond their new IP, Microsoft asked them nicely if they wanted to keep their job after they bought the rights to Gears and had to shift to that.

Well, they need to. They are getting absolutely destroyed over here. It is much worse than most people would casually think.

I'm surprised they didn't fix the roof while the sun was shining. It's much harder to do when it's pouring with rain.

They'll need some huge incentives for the tier 2 country launches.
 
I would personally rather they do a 'Microsoft' press event, not an Xbox event.

If Phil does want to make strides with PC gamers it makes sense that they have an event that caters to them too.
 
Can't wait. Im mostly wondering if MS can make me buy an Xbone after this conf.

Stil lI hope for som PC gaming news. PC gaming in Europe is pretty big, probably bigger than Xbox gaming in many countires.

in Spain, it is "as bad" as it's always been, not that it's something positive, but they aren't being destroyed because they've never been "successful" here, but you know, they better step up their game if they want to improve the situation.

imho, XB1 isn't doing that bad, specially in Europe. they are losing ground in UK (the only european country where they really were successful), but not that much in EU. I'm not saying they're doing good, but they're not doing as bad as many claim

It's rare that we get hw figures for eu, but the software figures are very telling.

live event player, I don't think Xbox is in the name of the app.
