I'm going to guess the Advanced Warfare showing will be the reason why we don't see anything about Halo 5 (especially multiplayer). It would completely overshadow COD, which would not be good business on the part of Microsoft since that's what Activision is giving then timed exclusives on (while Sony has Destiny exclusives).

I'm still holding out hope for some Halo 5 stuff though.

Considering that Halo 5 is not coming out anytime soon, I think that Activision would actually profit from Microsoft showing some Halo 5 multiplayer; attract as many FPS players to the platform as possible by showcasing plenty of (preferably exclusive) shooters.

Not that I think that will happen, but they might announce some details about the beta. It's coming in December, after all.

I wouldn't bet on it, the game is still far away. If anything we could get another teaser for Crackdown, which won't release soon either but since the devs are European...

It's a bummer the conference is so early. I'll be still at work at 18:00, so I'll miss the beginning, unless I take half a day off. Probably not worth it.

MS has a big image to portray going into this year's Gamescom.

Are they going to treat it like how practically almost every other publisher do ( E3 Director's Cut ) or are they going to be more like Sony and treat it as E3 ver.Europe?

they announced littlebigplanet on gamescom a couple of years back.

last year they had more gamescom exclusives than their e3 presser. helldivers, rime, everybody's gone to the rapture, shadow of the beast, most vita announcements happen at gamescom, price drops, resogun, ps4 release date, tons of indies, etc.

Really want to see an extended look at Quantum Break. Looks really really promising.

Of course not, but if there was a "crazy" theme to their presence at Gamescom, it should somehow be felt in the teaser. Maybe I'm looking too much into it, but I'm getting the same vibe from it than I did at E3. It doesn't stop me from having hopes, but a different style would have raised those hopes.
