I still think the guy in Quantum Break looks like Phil Spencer.

I'm excited to see more about it, but I want to see new games as well.

A proper unbroken sequence of QB gameplay will make me very happy.

That and a release date. Hey maybe we'll get some demos as well.

That's beautiful.

1. No, too early.
2. Guaranteed.
3. No, first Halo 5 MP stuff is probably December.

I think we will get a Halo 5 teaser of some sort because they will surely need to show it before the beta in December? Gamescom is a big opportunity to put it on stage beforehand.

I mean they could do it at PAX Prime and/or TGS as they're popular events but otherwise I would sort of surprised if they didn't do it

Great to hear that they will be live-streaming their press event... It definitely feels like Gamescom is becoming more and more important in coverage terms with every year that passes, will probably be equal to E3 soon (if not already) in terms of publisher/developer attendance.

I haven't been following the news but is Nintendo doing anything similar to their E3 live stuff as well for Gamescom?

Quantum Break is fine and all (and expected), but I hope they'll also show a game making significant use of kinect. I don't want to see the device forgotten because they needed to be price competitive. :/
I suppose Dance Central is a given, but other titles would be great.

they are NEVER going to demo a kinect motion game at major event again.

We already have a Halo 5 multiplayer teaser for the beta. In-game material would only steal the spotlight from Halo 2: Anniversary Multiplayer - which also does look good, but Halo 5 obviously will be on another level in terms of visual fidelity (new engine, bigger ressources, developed in-house at 343).

All I can say is: don't expect anything more in regards to Halo 5 before Halo TMCC is released.

It makes sense for Gamescom to grow as more European developers sprout up. Just with Sony, they have 3 major European devs in the form of Guerilla, Media Molecule, and Quantic Dream and Microsoft has grown as well with partners like Remedy. IMO, Sony's gamescom conferences have been better than their E3 conferences over the last couple of years.

They can just announce it on stage and demo it on the show floor (like they did for Dance Central, or even D4), I don't really care. Or forget the stage and have something to show.

Can't wait for quantum break. Would love an ori release date.
Mildly excited to see COD.
Kinda hoping they have that cloud physics crackdown demo Spencer wanted to show. Doubt it, but who knows right?

Hold on, friend! I'd love to share with you some swell news about the Windows 8 Metro UI! Wait, where are you going?
This video is a prime example of how stiff Microsoft's marketing is. It feels so forced and calculated.

Also, why is Major Nelson still at MS? His face and voice always gives me the creeps. He should be selling cars or something.

It's not so much a teaser for what they're going to show at the conference as it is an ad for their coverage of the event. That's why it features those 3 people as they are the hosts of the streams.

Halo 5 excitement will help sell Halo MCC. Especially since a beta is attached.

Are there birds and bears in the teaser? Because Microsoft needs to announce Banjo-Threeie!
