I am so glad I did not pick up Halo HD when it came out on Xbox 360. All four games for $60 is a way better value. I want to replay 1 and 3. 2's MP maybe, but the story sucked.

I would think it is:

SE said many times that TR didn't make profits until the PS4/X1 version was out. Then I think SE is looking for partner to fund it or at least fund part of costs.

Then MS came in and won the exclusive right.

If this is the case, then, I will say "Thanks MS for saving TR."

Trailer was show at MS press conference at E3, and while it wasn't implied that it was exclusive, I don't remember them mentioning it was multiplatform either.

I'm actually getting very excited about the near-term and somewhat long-term of xbox right now....

they do seem to be going for it near term. longer term - well lets see. I'm still a little down on them from not following through with 360 first party support beyond the first few years. Hopefully competition will force them to stay focused, which will be good for everyone.
