Dude was moving extremely careful, as if he was worried the hardware couldn't track him if he moved too fast.

Something about the audience responses seems fake to me. Like, they're too positive. Maybe I'm just cynical.

They cheered a 3k dev kit, of course it's bullshit

Well, they invited a bunch of Windows Insiders, so the audience is in their favor, but I don't think the cheering is canned. Apple does the same thing with Apple employees in their audiences.

$3000 for hololens? That seems pretty Damn expensive. Also, Katy Perry is on now.

Nope, for a dev kit. You pay thousands for an XBO dev kit and only 400 for an XBO.

Before the Apple Watch announcement, I was expecting Apple to claim the bottom of the wrist (long screen) form factor as the new (not rude) way to wear and check a watch for notifications.

UV monitoring?

I know it happens in every conference for every manufacturer, but these MS employees need to cool it on the applause--getting a little awkward.

I was thinking that too, but it could just be their horrible choice in stage demonstrator. Looked like they just grabbed an engineer from a cube and slapped the HoloLens on him.

Wow the MS employees/plants are a little to eager to cheer. Literally cutting off the presenter to cheer, lmao.

Band 2 would be more interesting if it was more like a smartwatch than a fitbit. Looks too big to be comfortable on a workout and I'm not so sure on how well the integration works with non-MS software.
